  1. Hi All, We use a public folder whole school calendar here which as you know is a pain to access via Outlook. I can add the calendar manually to each users favourites, but this is a pain. Does anybody have a script that will add a public folder calendar to the users favourites? We are using Outlook 2016. I have tried out various scripts unsuccessfully, but I think they may be for older versions of Outlook. Thanks
  2. Great. Our HP switches support LLDP. Will I be able to configure the port so that the phones use a VLAN that I create or will the phones use an automatically created VLAN?
  3. Thanks, that has cleared that up.
  4. Thanks for the reply. I hadn't thought about mobile twinning, but that is definitely a "that would be cool" point and I can see that being quite popular. How / why would you link a PA system to the phone system? I cannot think why you would do this so I am curious. Much appreciated.
  5. Thanks Caffrey. I'm thinking about doing it in house. If I go with an off prem system, do I not need SIP trunks?
  6. Sounds interesting. What system do Schools Broadband use? I am assuming you gave them a list of numbers that need porting? If so, how long did the switching over take? Thanks
  7. Hi Chris, Thank you so much that summary. If you Daisy Chain phones, can the phone still be part of a different VLAN then the PC that is connected to it? I have read that this is possible, but not sure if this is only configurable on Cisco phones / switches. Thanks
  8. Hi all, Project coming up is to ditch our analogue phone system to a voip one. What have you all done first in this scenario? I have managed voip systems before so I am familiar with configuring them, but I have never moved from an analogue system before. Any advice? Thanks
  9. Hi All, I know this has been asked countless times but I still have not managed to find a way that works for us. I completely understand that these apps should be removed before creating an image, but unfortunately, this was not done in our scenario. I have various powershell scripts that remove apps and which work fine when manually run on a PC. How do I go about deploying this via Group Policy? Login scripts does not seem to work for me, but I can't seem to think of any other way of doing it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  10. Hi All, Anybody know how I can force Windows 10 Clients to download from WSUS without having to wait until the scheduled install time? Thanks
  11. Hi, No I have not made any changes to the Default Profile. Windows Updates seems to have fixed the issue. Thanks for your help all...
  12. Hi All, Just did a new image with Windows 10 1709. When I open Edge, it opens for a few seconds and then closes with no error codes at all. Has anybody else experienced this issue? Thanks
  13. Hi All, Does anybody know how to deploy a shortcut to "This PC" on a users Windows 10 Desktop? Thanks
  14. Thanks Sparkeh, that works once a user is logged in. Any idea how to get it to apply to the computer so that the keyboard is UK on the logon screen as well?
  15. Hi All, I am struggling to set the keyboard to UK on our Windows 10 PCs via GPO. As usual, the main issue is that the @ sign is ". Does anybody know what the current best solution for this is? I am surprised that this is not a default configurable setting in Group Policy! Thanks for your help.
