Yeah I've thought that could be an option. Just on that, when users files are moved to the cloud, with Office files I can see how they would manage but how do they manage Photoshop files for instance?, do you give then access to an area locally so they can edit these?

So I`m consumed in all things Teams at the moment, putting a lot of work in very quickly to get us up and running (all be in 10 weeks late!) and I can't help but thinking when things get back to normal use of Teams will fall off a cliff and it won't be getting any use!. I realise that a strategy from SLT would achieve this but I've never seen one of these in all the times I've been here!. A few other schools have moved their shared areas to Onedrive and Sharepoint thus forcing staff to use more of these services, does anyone have any ideas of maintaining interest in Teams post lock down? or your plan with Teams for the future? Hi, I'm now at the stage (early stage!) with Teams where we need to limit the amount of people who can create Teams, how do I go about stopping this, would it be a O365 Group?, and put the people who we want to create groups in there? Cheers

Could anyone help with a problem I have with a MSI laptop? I'm struggling to access the BIOS! I`m fixing a MSI CR640 Laptop, the old hard disk has Bootmgr errors so I suggested to him that instead of fixing this I would install a new SSD and OS (old one was mechanical) for him, thinking this would be a nice easy swap out and fix has turned into trolling through the web to find the correct keystroke to access the BIOS. The manual says it DEL but because fast boot is on I cant seem to get it apply. I've tried every possible combination to get into it. Even with the old disk in its the same. I'm thinking there must be a combination to get into it but I must have tried every possibility Any suggestion would be appreciated as I'm running out of ideas!

Hi, Were beggining to roll out Ms Teams in the next few weeks and i would be interested to hear of how school are using both services side by side. I know one of the first comments staff will make is that the basics on Ms teams can be done on Smhw, so why do we need this? Our headteachers idea was to eventually do away with smhw and use teams but i dont think Teams can offer the parental engagement that smhw can? It would be great to hear from those who have both and how staff use the two together.

Yeah the head forwarded me the email, under joining info its says : Google Meet, I don't know if this is correct behaviour but it will be very confusing to the end user. I think I will raise a support ticket with MS cheers

So were having a Full Governors meeting via Teams tomorrow, the Governors have joined the Team as Guests (as there using there personal Email accounts), when I create a Scheduled invite to the Meeting (Tomorrow) some of the guests get the invitation with a invite to Google Meet?? The only reason I can find is that these users are Guests? I'm a member of the Team (for testing) and my invite includes the correct link to the MS Teams scheduled meeting. Anyone had this?

As long as you allow Guest access then they should be able to join. The trouble we have had is the Governors having to create a MS account off the back of their Non MS email tenant, its been a slow process!

Hi, I'm just wondering what other school do with regards to Governors and their email addresses, we have created a school email address for all Governors but none of them use it, reverting to their personal address. Which is fine until there's a Governors meetings and it causes all kinds of confusion trying to join MS Teams meetings with none Microsoft accounts (not that its very confusing!, but seems to be for many!), suggesting to use their school O365 account has fallen on deaf ears. Whats your policy with this? Do you force all communication to Govs through a school address or let them use their own personal one? Thanks

I`m looking for the best way for the candidates to achieve this, can this be done in Onedrive? (or the Office 365 Package) I`d rather do this in O365 if i can, than sign up for a 3rd party file sharing application. Any advice would be appreciated Thanks
