Definitely Windows 8.1 for me. I though performance was good on Windows 7, but 8.1 far exceeds it!

Rooney did have a poor game, but so would any other player if they were played out of position. I think defence was where we were poorest. The lack of Ashley Cole at left back was were we really suffered, Leighton Bains just isn't at the same level for me personally yet and the fact that he had Rooney out of position in front of him only made matters worse. The trouble is Rooney's poor tournament form is showing. I would say give him 1 more game, in his correct position and see how it goes, but the next game is must win, so it's a tough decision. That corner summed his day up though!

It was stupid. I don't understand why there was any confusion. The first signal of "NO GOAL" was to show that Benzema's shot hadn't crossed the line. Therefore, no goal. However, the second signal showed "GOAL" as it had gone in after hitting the goal keeper. Therefore, own goal. Jonathan Pearce went absolutely potty, but there was no farce whatsoever. If anything, it showed the system was perfect.

Yeah, the recent Brazil teams just haven't had the class, or the flair of the 1970s group. Ronaldo was decent in his hey day. I still remember watching the UEFA Cup Final of 1998 where he completely stole the show. I didn't make any requests either way. No, it isn't a religious requirement. It was entirely my managers decision and he made it without consulting me prior to his announcement. No one else seemed to have a problem with it. I dress the way I dress everywhere I go. Whether it be home, work, event, etc. I see it as smart formal wear. I wore it to my job interview and I got the job and I wear it to work everyday. I don't own a suit and tie set and have always had the mindset that if they didn't accept me for the way I dressed, then I was better off without them. If I was asked to adhere to a strict uniform policy then I would do so, as long as my employer supplied me with the uniform. I didn't ask for any special treatment, just because I may come across as "not the norm". I can't speak for others, but I would have never done anything of the sort.

Sadly, this seems to be the case in every World Cup! Also, I was watching the news after the match and they were saying that referees are gonna be inclined to give Brazil the vast majority of the decisions because the authorities biggest fear is Brazil going out early and adding more fuel to the protestor fires! I've never seen a decent FIFA or UEFA opening ceremony! Perhaps they need to give Danny Boyle a call!

The majority of Smart TVs I've come across (And I mean the big brands, Samsung, LG, Panasonic etc) have a terribly clunky, horrible and sloooow interface that makes Raspberry Pi look like a concorde compared to jumbo jet!

Also, what is your budget and what features are you looking for? 3D? 4K? Freeview HD? Nowadays, I personally wouldn't pay extra for a smart TV because you could get so much more for about £50 by getting a Raspberry Pi and putting on XBMC.

I've worn my Islamic attire all my working life (Think Arab Shiekh, if you wanna paint a picture!) My schools have never had a problem with it and I've never been challenged otherwise. So much so, that when one of my many previous RM managers bought in a formal uniform, he exempted me from the policy. Kudos to him on that one! The only thing I have been challenged on was trainers, but the amount of posh shoes I've had to go through, trainers were the only real option. He did promise us steel toe caps, but he left before the policy was implemented!

At my previous school, I started out in a small corridor like office, that could only fit 2 people in our 3 people department. The school then gave us a converted girls toilet! Very spacious office indeed and we finally had some work space, cupboards and we could entertain visitors and guests! Now I'm back in a broom cupboard in my new roll!

Indeed! I remember having hours and hours of fun with Burnout Paradise. As for Need for Speed, I don't think there has been a decent NFS game since the original Most Wanted. That was the last one that I really enjoyed. Compelling storyline and excellent game mechanics. It made you want to play the game over and over. I hate how the new NFS games don't have much of a story and are sooooo focused on forcing you to dwell in to online gaming in order to get any where further in the game. Aside from NFS, I did quite enjoy GRID 2, but found it far too short! - - - Updated - - - Indeed! I remember having hours and hours of fun with Burnout Paradise. This is also the case. I think we've lacked a strong England manager for an awfully long time. The way they've been playing under Roy so far isn't really filling anyone with any sort of confidence. Although very unlikely, I would really love to see a Jose Mourinho/Guus Hiddink figure manage the England team and see how we do under some proper managerial direction. I know before Sven there was always a stigma against a foreign manager, but personally, I just don't think we've had the correct person in place. And I don't understand giving the role to the first English bloke that seems to be available. Honestly, what did Taylor, Hoddle and McLaren ever achieve at managerial level to make them decent candidates for the role?

The trouble is, since 1998, the future was always bright and then kinda just fizzled out. Owen was the prospect of 1998 - 2002, Becks was on top form (especially that qualifier against Greece) where no one except him bothered to turn up! And that is the problem, most of the players just don't give a crap. The same applies to the current crop of bright young stars who will inevitably become overpaid primadonnas because they got a World Cup call up. As someone mentioned already, there really needs to be a regime change in the EPL's way of thinking when it comes to home grown talent and the number of allowed foreign players in a lineup.

The whole of Euro 96 had a feel good factor about it. Maybe some of that was thanks to home advantage, but mainly because that squad were a good team. It was also an era where playing for England was considered an honour as opposed to overtime at work after a club season which is where the players priorities seem to lie these days. There is clearly no honour in donning the shirts anymore.

The trouble is that barely any world class English players play outside of England. We're having to pick from a small circle, because English players are being forced out by foreign imports. Sorry to nitpick... but the Euros don't have a 3rd/4th play-off! But yes, England were FAR stronger than Germany in Euro 96. And it wasn't just a Gazza boot, it was an Anderton bullet to the post too! Imagine that, Darren "Sicknote" Anderton almost got us to the European Cup Final!

Glad to hear that. I agree with the handling for Sleeping Dogs and Burnout Paradise. Burnout as well as most Criterion Games titles have always had the best handling for me.

GTA 3 is still the best in the series for me. I just wish Liberty City was bigger! I didn't enjoy Vice City too much and San Andreas I just ended up using a trainer to do max health and fitness! Going gym is hard enough in real life. Don't want to go to the gym in my gaming as well! GTA 4 was good, but the car handling was absolutely shocking. I remember going on wild car chase rampages on GTA 3/VC/SA but on 4 it almost felt like a chore to drive. Hope they've fixed that for GTA 5.

+1 for the SE9 drives. Very good, very robust and tiny!

Finally! I don't have a console (unless you count the original Wii lol! And my brother will be donating his PS3 to me soon!). My specs should be able to handle it. I'm just worried about the GeForce 560Ti I was tempted to start selling off the PC as I wasn't really using it for anything other than a web browser and gloried media centre!
