damn i really wanted to win a rasberry pi as well. Thats such a great prize; they are so expensive and so hard to come by.

Rolled out 100 new Windows 8 touchable devices earlier in the year, dont plan to upgrade them to 8.1 Still have some older model touchable devices that are running windows 7, that Ill probably bring up to windows 8, just to be consistent and then do them all to 8.1 over the xmas long holidays. Just finished installing 8.1 on my desktop, StartIsBack - real start menu in Windows 8 have released a compatible update so dont mind using it on a non-touch laptop. It does seem a lot faster though.

What do I export it to from Adobe Premier to end up with a 1080p movie that is reasonably compressed?

Ive got a 1994 BMW 325 - it has its 20th birthday next January so I'm classing it as old. Since I've had it Ive had to spend quite a bit keeping it roadworthy, but although it is less than the repayments on a new car, its not very economical with fuel. Owning a European car over here is seen as a 'luxury' car and as such all the spare parts are priced as a premium; Ive found its cheaper to import them from the US/UK/EU and fit them myself (with the help of a mate who knows what he's doing) Its in pretty decent condition considering its age. 225k kms

Not too sure about the arm and tray but its just a cheap Tusa torch. Beam is only 42 degrees so when going through tunnels and stuff the camera only really caputres a spotlight. Cant afford one of the expensive proper torches just yet.

Alas, the Flip3 didnt arrive in time for the weekends dive with sharks and stuff. But it was still awesome, and I made myself a mount that worked pretty well:

Im getting a bit bored of downloading podcasts, and then transferring them to my phone. Seems there is loads of apps available but which one would be recommended to download podcasts automatically for me so they are ready for the journey to work in the morning?

I just screwed in the small mount that came with it and held that. Ive ordered a proper hand held mount from the local dive shop, one that also holds a torch as well.

Took it for a couple of dives this weekend, heres a sample: The filter hasnt arrived yet but hopefully it will for next weekend. I shot it in 24fps 1080p. Would it be better to shoot it in 60fps?

balooned to 97KG in the 3 months since May, mostly due to heavy and regular beer and wine intake, mixed with a large drop in excersise during the winter months. Have joined a gym, so hopefully will get myself back on track!

It arrived this morning but I didnt get a chance to play with it at work and then i forgot to bring it home with me, so will need to wait till tomorrow to have a play.

Also, while I now having it display the language bar, and I can choose between english, chinese and japanese, it is only in Japanese that it draws the japanese symbols when I choose Chinese it doesnt draw chinese characters only the normal letters

I didnt find that to be the case. Just revisting this thread as Ive had to add a couple new language packs. Now that we have SCCM in place, is there something easier I could have done?

wow the colour difference is great, Ill def add that to the accessories to buy. Im gonna get the wrist mount for skydiving, what would be the best one for underwater / snowboarding? I bought the surf edition anyway, at least I can attach it to my board and film me falling over.
