Not sure if this is entirely the correct place to post this, but Im looking at investing in one of these new, small, compact and durable cameras. I like the look of the Go Pro Hero 3 Black edition, HERO3 Black Edition | Wi-Fi enabled | Most Advanced HD GoPro Ever which would be good for snowboarding, scuba diving and skydiving. But before I go pay $399+ for one of these, is there an alternative which is just as good, or better?

So now we are 6 months down the line from the last post in this thread, most of us moved from live@edu to office 365, and and some of us having been dabbling with windows 8, are there any insights to how to install windows store apps en masse? Ive just rolled out a number of win8 slates, Im keeping a single domain account for them so that there isnt the multi-user issue, but with the 5 devices per liveID im struggling to come up with enough liveIDs to install the apps one at a time on each slate. question 1) Where do I get new liveIDs from now that live@Edu isnt making them. q2) How can I install windows store apps on more than 5 devices at a time?

Yes I do believe it is the first line. Personal Imports Option

Car has been taxed throughout and both buyer and seller are named drivers on the insurance policy...
-
I fail to see anything that says 'you must inform us within x amount of time' In the above quotes, with my emphasis, from the linked documents above (thanks @happymeal) all it says to me is that a) the existing owner has to notify of the sale, of the exact date, and that they are liable for the car until they do so b) the buyer has to submit their part too. So, (and IANAL hence the post), if both the seller and the buyer haven't lodged any paper work, and the sale happened on 1/1/2013, and both parties lodged the paperwork tomorrow (25/7/2013) as far as I can see from those documents, it should be ok. The problems seem to arise when either buyer or seller lodge one part, without the other party lodging their part in a timeous manner?
-
Ok let me rephrase the question. What are the repercussions for both a buyer and a seller forgetting to lodge the transfer/sale of vehicle documents? There must be a FAQ on the DVLA section covering that or such?

[ms office - 2010] Office 2010 SP2 in Windows Update
RabbieBurns replied to RabbieBurns's topic in Office Software
Thanks, Didnt think to check that forum. And as usual @Arthur provides a much better post with download links and a full overview. -
actually looking at autotrader.co.uk the going rate is about 2-3K (UKP) If its any perpsective every service/repairs Ive had done on my current 1994 BMW here have been around $1000. Thats about 800 quid. Last time it was just a new radiator and an oil change. Owning a European car here is really expensive, so it is definately cost effective to bring over a mint condition UK one
-
SP2 for Office 2010 has appeared in my Windows update over night. Description of Office 2010 SP2
-
shipping is $1000 (about 800 quid) tax is $300/year. So under a grand sterling.
-
not even close. Trade in value in the uk is about 6k (UKP) over here the same car would cost 10k (UKP) 2003 BMW 325i E46 MY2003 Steptronic

Local regulations here state I have to have owned it for 12 months in the UK before I can import it. Not wanting to commit any fraud or break any laws. Ive been a named driver on the car for a number of years so hopefully i can use that as proof of 'ownership'
-
Whats a logbook?
-
Ive been given a car by a family member but I want to back date the change of ownership date so that I will have owned it for longer, to make it easier to ship overseas. Is there any penalty the previous owner would face for submitting a change of ownership form late? Ive tried phoning the DVLA but I cant seem to get past the robot menu to a real human. Any info on their website I should be looking at?

We are having a number of issues with DIRSync and the new office365, I'm hoping someone ( @jamesbmarshall perhaps? ) can possibly please help. 1) Any new user accounts created in AD get synced to the cloud with the email address off [email protected] rather than [email protected] We have contacted support and they have said this: Which, while being very straight forward and easy to follow instructions, dont really explain what is going on. Everything worked fine with live@edu and ILM. Are there any caveats about adding a new UPN? our current local domain is academic.schoolname.edu.au , our on-premise exchange for staff is just schoolname.edu.au. When I join devices to the domain i just use 'academic' as the domain to join. What happens if i add the extra upn? 2) Another problem is DIRSync has synced every single user object in Active directory. In ILM i could just select the student container. How can I specify only the user container in DirScyn? 3) This is a bit of a sub-question, but in the latest contact with office 365, the techo signed of with : (emphasis mine) . Is there plans to start charging for support?!

Thanks for the info, too late for me ive already paid for a new mobo but hopefully will be able to help any others.

living in the cities Ive been spoiled with hundred/gigabit internet; and everthing being cloud this, online that, Ive almost forgotten what its like to have slow internet. But Ive got a rural campus Im looking to improve the internet connection for. Currently it has an 'up to' ADSL2+ which is so far from the exchange its 1mb down and 0.1up The alternative to adsl plan im looking at is 5mb/5mb.. would be fast enough for 70 simultaneous users, just doing browsing, research, and saving the occasional file to the cloud, do you reckon.

just installed it there. entered my liveID, went to the store, my apps, and it downloaded all 25 of my apps. Dropped to the desktop, and boom, theres my wallpaper from my other laptop already set. Only issue is my liveID is the same as my domain email address, except the email is local exchange. Cant seem to get it to accept this email address as its already got that assigned to a non-existent cloud email

If your under 30, come over on a working holiday visa. Get some work, prove your worth; its a lot easier to be sponsored if your here. Although if you have a wife and kids etc might not be that simple

is there a free download or is it only on msdn?

I cant say I've ever read the labels on a shampoo bottle, but Ive never washed twice. I have sometimes tough used a bit of the girls conditioner just to see what that was all about.
