I am not sure i have been unable to get hold of this particular user, i have just been informed of, and been able to replicate the NDR

are exchange transport logs on by default? Im a bit lost looking for them in this new R2/2010 installation..

mail and proxy address in adsi edit are correct.

he only has one smtp address listed, and that is the correct one. Automatically update email address based on policy is also checked..

It has been reported form multiple users. I just sent from OWA, sending to just This seemed to go through OK (i should have ticked delivery reciept, forgot) I then sent another one, again just entering however this time OWA autofilled that to Full Name. This one, and subsequent ones have failed and bounced back.

Every time i send an email to this user. It bounces back same error...

I composed a new email. I have been unable to check whether the user can access their webmail or not at this time.

It cant be a bad cached from outlook, as when I sent him an email to test, i had never previously contacted this user and there was no cache in my outlook of this user. This is only happening to 1 user which is strange, but I will look at adding the x500 attribute for him. Thanks.

live@edu support ticket opened. thanks. its happening to both our hosted mailbox liveIDs and also our onpremise but mail-user liveIDs. None are generating an email notificaiton anymore. Just tried sharing a doc from my Hotmail and it emailed the link straight through

We are having a problem whereby emails are bouncing back from a user who has a mailbox on our exchange server, even when I try to send locally. We use skydrive a lot, and as of the last 48 hours or so, when we share a file, and enter the person to share it with, the recipeient does not get an email with the link. I have tried with multiple skydrive accounts and sharing with multiple recipients on multiple domains around the world. Is anyone else having this issue? @jamesbmarshall, is this something that would be covered if i open a live@edu support ticket?

Ive rolled out the release preview to 40 slates already and it has been received well by teachers and students alike. However I dont see us putting it on desktops or normal laptops at all.

Im trying to write an update query to update multiple records, but the records i want to update criteria is different for each. eg: UPDATE ASSET SET Location = 'Senior' WHERE (((ASSET.[serialNumber])='1234567890')); The above works great but I have a bunch of serial numbers I want to do at once and have been updating the query each time with the next serial but surely theres an easier way?

We had the same issue with our Enterasys switches and ghost, and the solution was to enable IGMP snooping.
