Hmm, after your reply I went and tried to change it to and then a user in the students group could access it. I have checked my group spelling and that was correct. Does Hap need to know about any groups that I recently created anywhere maybe?

Nope, I'm still being an idiot. I have tried editing wwwroot\HAP\Tracker\web.config file to give access to the group like this... or editing the main web.config which usually ends in me being unable to access AHP at all! Could you let me know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks

Hi, I have created a group and given them the link to the logon tracker on their resources on the HAP homepage. They can click on that but then they get a denied access message. From my earlier tinkerings I guess I need to grant access somewhere in the web.config? Would that be right and if so where? Thanks

Do some companies offer support when called upon rather than an annual agreement? So for example if we were to drop completely out of the LA support contract and then have a massive meltdown could we call on Microsoft/Private company to help us?

There are currently two of us supporting our school's IT. We have a 60 hour support contract with our Local Authority which we call on when we have broken hardware that needs parts replacing(they take it away and replace parts without further charge) or more importantly if we need help with a server breaking down or want advise on how to do something particulalry vexing (In the past this has been sorting out domain sync issues etc) Anyway I have been asked by the finance director to find out if we are getting value for money. I want to have somewhere else to turn to in the event that we do have some sort of disaster or when edugeek and google don't have the answers so I thought I'd see what everyone else does for this sort of insurance? Any help appreciated!

Eveything from our DT Colour printer has started to print out with a green hue. Here is a picture of a print out... The print out on the right is correct. The print out on the left is the dodgy one. It is such a big beast that it scares me and I don't want to take it apart for fear of falling inside it!

Hi, I have been asked to prove to my Finance manager that out LA internet feed is value for money. We currently pay BT for our fibre about £6000 a year plus another £6000 to the LA for our 100 meg internet I can't find anyone else who comes close to this price. Can anyone let me know who you use for your internet feed with ideas of cost. PM if you want! Thanks
