Does anybody know if there is a way to show all the days bookings on one page without somne of the lessons scrolling off the page? Our LRB manager prints the page off, on our current system, at the beginning of every day and sticks it on his noticeboard. This doesn't seem possible at the moment! thanks

If I as an admin book a room that works but when i try to delete the booking I get an error "Method not Allowed" I have noticed that when i go to remove the booking the message seems slightly wrong like this... "Are you sure you want to remove Year7 english in/with U40 during P 3"

Thanks Nick, That lets me redirect my current site to a sub folde e.g /hap but I still can't find out how to move the whole shebang to a subfolder!

Thanks Nick, I now have an external address for the site. I'm worried about moving the site to a folder as it's all working at the moment, apart from logon tracker! Is it pretty straightforward to move the whole site to a subfolder?

I'm sorry nick, but I can't find anywhere on any config where I should add this! Could you let me know where I add the ldap path. I've looked in the config section in the booking system tab and I have looked in the booking system settings but I can't find this anywhere. Sorry!!!

Ah, I see. Does it just need the name of the ou in the config or does it need a path to it?

I have deployed the "Hap logon tracker installer.msi" and have setup my logon, logoff, boot and shutdown scripts to run the following command... "%windir\system32\hap logon tracker.exe" https://ms1 I get to hap by browsing to https://ms1 so I assume all this bit is correct? However when I browse to https://ms1/tracker and choose live logons I just see "No data was returned" if I click on Historic Logs I just see a screen with "reset zoom" about half way down. I have seen at Home Access Plus+ a change to make if charts don't show in logon tracker that says... Open the ~/Web.config file Find ChartImageHandler. Change the temp directory the system uses. Close the ~/web.config file and try again but when you browse there there is not mention of a temp directory. Am I even suppossed to be doing that in version 8? Thanks

Hi Nick, I have had a look through and seen details on how to set up the logon tracker but I can't find anything about the booking system. I have had a play with it already and most seems straightforward but there seem to be some configs needed that are not available in the web interface. I have added my staff group in the web config file but I can't add a user to a booking and I can't find where to do that!

Hi, I'm really loving HAP now that I have it running smoothly. I'd like to start using the helpdesk and the booking system now and wondered if there were any specific guides for those? I have trawled through edugeek with no success so far. Can someone point me in the direction of any guides to these plus the logon tracker. Thanks

Hi, I thought I'd bite the bullet and upgrade from 7 to 8 before going live to our users. I did as suggested in the documentation and removed all except my app_data and dropped all the new files into the HAP folder. I can log on as before and most seems OK apart from when I click on "My School Files". I get the following error... Server Error in '/' Application. The resource cannot be found. Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly. Requested URL: /mycomputer.aspx I look in my hap folder and there is no computer.aspx file there. Did I need to run something after i dropped in the upgrade files? thanks

Hi, I have had HAP installed for some time on my server and have just got around to looking at using it. In the initial setup I can give users access to our shared area no problem but I get stuck when it comes to giving access to the users home drives. We have three shares on the server like so... dc1/staff$ dc1/student$ dc1/admins$ I can only see the way of adding one share, could you let me know if this is possible and if so what am I doing wrong!! I have a working system now but it did take a good three hours over three sessions plus 90 minutes remote access to fix it. It was an AD issue which I did mention in the original support ticket but was only spotted 15 minutes from the end of the remote support!

Just a quick update. If we tick the box "User must change password at next logon" in users properties they can change their password no problem!

Strange this one. We have a complexity level for all users passwords set in our whole domain GPO. However newly created users cannot change their password no matter how complex they make it. So we took the complexity out of the GPO and still the newly created users get the following error... "Unable to update the password. The value provided for the new password does not meet the length, complexity or history requirements of the new domain" Can anyone suggest where this might be "sticking" in our gpos or users? Thanks

Hmm, I thought I might have been on to a winner but not quite working for me. I can log on as some users but not others? I created a new user and that user could log on with their new domain password. I then tried logging on with an admin from the domain and that didn't work. I have tried some staff accounts that we have spare and some work and some don't. I can't see what's missing here. Anyone know why this might be happening? Thanks
