  1. Thanks Dos_Box, There was also mention of the actual power points being made available, do you know if this will still happen?
  2. Thanks for running such a great event. Do you know if the presentations will be made available on edugeek?
  3. Cheers Chris, that's a good saving over apple too. thanks
  4. I have been living with a cracked screen for a few months now but need to get the thing fixed. Apple want £90 but I wondered if there are any decent alternatives. I don't want the hassle of doing it myself as I know I'd end up bricking the phone! thanks
  5. Got it. I take out the equals sign. Then fill series and then do a replace to put the equals sign back in!
  6. That won't work for me! I think it is because it is a formula. If I just had I could do as you suggest and it works fine. but the minute it becomes a formula that doesn't happen!
  7. See I told you I was finding it hard! I already have that in the six cells shown in my rubbish diagram but I now want to copy those down below stepping in steps of 34. When I try to fill series this doesn't carry on the steps of adding 34!
  8. Sorry, I am finding it hard to explain what I want to do here! What I am trying to do is this... =concatenate(A503," ",B503) | =C505 | =E505 =concatenate(A537," ",B537) | =C539 | =E539 =concatenate(A571," ",B571) | =C573 | =E573 And on and on!
  9. I am trying to copy excel cells like this =c5 =c15 =c25 Hard to explain but I have about 400 cells to fill and I can fill series as it jumps in just one step at a time. To make things more complicated I'm actually doing this in google docs! Can anyone help please? Thanks
  10. Can anyone suggest a place to buy cheap patch cables? We want to tidy up our cabs over the half term and can't find anything cheap enough to be able to buy enough! Thanks
  11. I agree with zag about Tasc Insight. I have never seen SLG but I don't need to as I know Insight just works. Also their support is amazing. If you have a request they very often add that in an update that could come out the following day!
  12. Nothing even that complicated! They have to guess the scores of all the qualifying games, I have the spreadsheet already created like this... Correct score is 3 points - correct prediction 1 point Most points wins. If there is a draw the prize fund is shared. I'm going to have to do some of it manually due to time constraints. I'm not sure how I could automate the correct prediction even if the scores where different!
  13. We are having a staff competition for the Euro 2012 where staff have to guess what the scores will be for each game in the qualifiers. I am creating a simple webpage with a google docs spreadsheet on it. I assume some whizzkid out there would have a php page pulling data from some mysql database but how hard would that have been to do? I've got two years until the world cup to set this up so any suggestions?
  14. Up and running now!
  15. True for most of the event BUT the torch is going past our school, well reasonably close, so it was just going on for that really!
  16. Thanks, I'd just found it again and was about to post it myself! Works fine as well. Brilliant. Just got to work out how to make in work with xibo.
  17. Does anybody have the complete code that would work that they could post here? Mine seems to have broken due to too much tinkering!
  18. Thanks for that. Weirdly I tried logging in with my personal itunes account rather than our school one and it logged in! Still doesn't work but one step closer I suppose!
  19. Wow, Lion is different isn't it! I am trying to pre-empt the rush of iPads coming in to our school by setting up Profile Manager in the Lion Server App. I fail almost instantly as when when I click "configure", select my own servers unsigned certificate, click next and try to use my apple ID I get an error... "Error getting push certificate" I really don't know if this is some sort of proxy issue or port issue but I don't know what is causing it. Has anyone else had this issue? Thanks
  20. You know what. That worked! Thanks
  21. I know that's what should happen but there is no option to select AD at arrow A! Another weird thing is that if you select AD groups at arrow B and then select on from the list it just disappears! we can select them one at a time and eventually they all disappear.
  22. We have just upgraded from os X 10.5 server to Lion. We completely flattened the server and installed from scratch. We have installed server and workgroup tools but we can't seem to add AD users to OD groups! In the pic above we can select users from ldap or active directory at B but only ldap at A so we can drag users from my AD into the mac groups. Can someone tell me what we are missing out? Thanks
  23. I'm a mellow birds man myself.
  24. No autoplay yet! I did try your suggestion Interwebsguy, I did look at our bbc news embed as well! Still no autoplay yet though.
