Would there be a way to give a teacher the power to password protect a folder in a shared area with some software? I did look at Grumbledook's links above, thanks grumbledook, but the last suggestion "Using Windows 7 and UMRA for Controlled Assessment » SharePointEduTech" would cost our school, with 780 students, £3000 for the software!

Yes, that is what is happening with the phone. It does connect to ruckus, as we see it in the console, but then disconnects!

For some reason my iphone 4 with ios5 will not connect any of our ruckus wlans. I have been living with this since ios5 was released but was just pushed over the edge when a student connected no problem whilst in our server room. Can anyone suggest what could be blocking my phone from connecting specifically to our ruckus? Long shot but I might not be the only person this has happened to.

Any reason for that? We have nearly all HP here but I don't know why!

I'm about to buy two small laser printers for our front office. Nothing too fancy but would prefer ones that don't break every five minutes. Anybody bought anything over the last 12 months that would fit the bill? I quite like the look of the Brother HL-2270DW or the HP LASERJET P2055 but I have never seen the Brother in the flesh. Not quote right Andie. If you are have all traffic directed through youtube edu edition you will only get the education videos, not all clips.

Hers another complete pain to go with this... If a student browses to youtube.com/prentonhighschool (as they can go to youtube.com/prentonteacher because all thier videos are blocked??) the students can't click on the playlist that we have created as they are still blocked! The only way a student can access an authorised video is by being given the link directly or if they browse to youtube.com/prentonhighschool and the video has just been added. Surely this can't be right How are other people unblocking certain "uesful" videos. Thanks

I'm currently playing around with adding clips. Not sure how once you have added the clip the users find it. Would it then appear in searches by the user?

Just to clarify, I know I can search while on the education site for videos BUT I don't know how a user who already has a clip knows how to check if that is already in the education section!

Hmm, Our staff go through a different filter to our students so that they have full youtube access rather than being redirected to the education version. The problem with this is that they want to link to videos on our VLE but don't know if that particular video is available via the education version. Does anyone know if there is a search filter that would only show results from the education version or an alternative method of how we could do this? I am currently googling furiously but with no answers so far!

Censornet have an update that allows you to use the modify header option. Works for us now.

I'm using censornet which at the moment can't use the http header method. I spoke to them this morning and they are working on a fix.

We have been trying to install forefornt on SCCM since Monday. I'm glad it's on a practice server as we have found that the path is littered with expletives and excessive downloads of updates and service packs! I'm almost considering going to sophos!

Chickcam I'm trying to find a way to record that stream which is being broadcast via justin.tv and wondered if anyone knew of any screen capture software (free) or other methods of recording this momentous occasion?
