is there anyway of setting this up so it kicks of at say 17:00 each night?

we use sharepoint with isa at the front of it all, we have all the standard web parts, we have a owa one, my files so students and staff can access there files, we have setup a homework area site and staff area sites for the department. we have a web part that pull ther timetable through form sims as well. works fully with AD and has a nice alerting system when someone add somthing to the vle

select local system account radio box, dont tick the box allow service to interact with desktop , restart the service and see what happens

whats the dns server service doing? log off the server then from a workstation go to computer managment and run a remote connection from that mmc to the server and check the status of the dns server service.

with them AP's have you got load balanced switched on? it sounds like they are all connecting to the same AP, switch load balance on then set the max to 10 clients and split the trolley over the to ap so half are on one ap and the other on the other

Hi Yeah i run it here, I think it is excellent links into the AD so users can submit tickets, I dont think it will allow users to auto logon but I might be wrong, I have set it up to logon with the AD so same username and password, ill have a look on my suite and let you know. other than that excellent product use it all the time. hi our science dep want to put all of there science equipment on to a online system where staff can book them and if they are booked out and other staff want eqipment the system will not let them double book them, any one know of a resource booking system? Mark

we have 1 one exchange server running exchange 2007 with 2 mail box stores we did a upgrade to 2007 as we liked it better than 2003, plus you can do a bit more with the powershell commands in 2007 if you like that sort of thing

hi we have 4 dns servers, so have gone down for some strange reason. they dont not contain any of the zone file in he forward or reseve zones. It wont let me create then and give me a invaild data error not matter what i create. this comes up in the event viewer of the affected servers, The DNS server was unable to open the Active Directory. This DNS server is configured to use directory service information and can not operate without access to the directory. The DNS server will wait for the directory to start. If the DNS server is started but the appropriate event has not been logged, then the DNS server is still waiting for the directory to start. AND The DNS server was unable to open Active Directory. This DNS server is configured to obtain and use information from the directory for this zone and is unable to load the zone without it. Check that the Active Directory is functioning properly and reload the zone. The event data is the error code. You can ping the servers and students can still access there work on thr servers, the AD is working fine on the other servers but has issues on these 2 servers. they havent drop network connection and hardware seems fine. rep is not happen because the dns is buggered. any one help?
