    Domain Trust

to be honest, we have 2 networks with 2 AD and i want both staff and students to use outlook, so the thinking was putting the other exchange box on the curriculum network then joining the exchange system some how. I am going to think some more. At the momment joining the domains is not an option. Sorry to confuse you all

    Domain Trust

Cheers guys, I new I would get some answers with some common sense here. What about, putting a second exchange box on the curriculum network for the student mail boxes and getting the admin exchange to forward messages to the students ones? it that possible? being on different networks.

    Domain Trust

Hi all, Well let me set the picture for you all. We have 2 networks and our exchange is on the admin network. Now our exchange is connected into the curriculum network with a patch cable so we can re route some dns so the students can use owa without off our internet and back down the admin internet. I would like for the students to use outlook on the curriculum network now, becuase our students have accounts and mail boxes on the admin side as well as there normal account on the currirulum side there passwords are different, now would a domain turst between the two mirror the students passwords from one to the other. What i am after is somthing like password mirror which RM used. I dont know much about domain trusts so will this work. hope that all makes sense. Mark
