ok cheers, so if i already have the home folders created already the %username% variable will just much up to the home folder already there. e.g \\srv-files1\student-home$\%username%\My Settings would that work?

hi guys i want to redirect all students application data folder to there home folder under a folder called my settings. in the config for the application redirection what Environment variables do i need to put in? many thanks mark

Vb really I have a vb script to delete the folder. Problem is because I don't know enough. When the folder isn't there is it gives me a error on screen. What I really want is for it to contiune without error. @ chillibear. That is the sequnce. Check if folder is there, if it is delete it, if not move on to copying folder from network share to c.

hi guys can any help me out with a script, I have 2 one that copys a folder to the local c and one that deletes it what i want is one script that will first check if the folder is there, if it is delete it and the copy a new one from a network share. if the folder is not there then copy the folder form the network share. can any one help? thanks mark

hi i have just finished setting up our new autoloader. its a 8 tape lto 4 hp autoloader. i have backup exec 12.5, i am just woundering what people would suggesting using in a back policy. i got 20 tapes for the system. any advice?

hi guys I have hit a stumbling block while setting up a new sims server, I have copied the databases across to the new sims servers and the docstorge as well. I can login to the new system and get all of our data. however when i try to run a report it get the error its not on the docuement server. I have point the new sims setup at the new docstore in sims. also does any one know how to mirgate fms data from a old server to a new 2008 server? thanks Mark
