Amazing thank you - that's worked brilliantly. Do you also know how to get the homepage to work? I've got it set to our intranet page but it's not picking it up - just opening with Google.

So we don't use Chrome as general rule, but our IT department want it on their machines for webpage testing etc. We seem to have locked down what we need to via Group policy, but the students can still access Settings-Appearence-Get Themes and install / play games through there. Does anyone know how to block this? Thanks.

Sessions randomly disconnecting, printers not mapping, folders not redirecting etc. it's a disaster, but we have downsized staff wise recently and don't have the time to put into it. Does anyone also know of any companies who would come and implement RDP?

Thanks everyone. We had Citrix and changed to RDP. But having a few issues with that. We have about 80 thin clients so it really needs to be running smoothly. Buying a solution is becoming more and more appealing!

What do you guys use for access when it comes to thin clients / home access? Either paid or free. Any pro's and cons of different options appreciated! Thanks.

I got assigned India the other day :-( which was bad enough to begin with, but then another player invaded me from under cloud cover at about move 20 - I kid you not. He stole my workers and totally destroyed me!

Oh I adore multiplayer. Although it can take ages to get a game going sometimes - people disconnecting etc. quite frustrating - but it's really fun.

I need to give this game another chance - I had SimCity first and really liked it, except for a few frustrating glitches. So I tried Cities Skyline after hearing the hype and just didn't get into it. Maybe that's because I was used to the layout of SimCity? I'll have to have another go perhaps. Any tips?

I'm looking at buying one of these printers: HP LaserJet Enterprise M605n Printer - Ebuyer But it takes an 81X toner - which eBuyer don't sell... and I can't seem to find anywhere else online. I don't want to buy the printer if it's going to be a hassle to get toner for. Anyone know where I can get this? Thanks

So this is on my desk. Needs deploying to a couple of suites. But I can't fathom it. I've done a bit of 'Edugeeking' and found people saying to use SCCM? But I've not working in IT long and I'm not really sure what to do. Would anyone be able to help me out please? Thank you!!

I am in on staff training days. Sometimes there's a whole staff briefing to start it off, then the teachers have 'training' whilst we just go and do our usual jobs. So not really necessary to be there in that respect. Although of course it's a useful day for us to have to crack on.

We're half day Friday. Usually it's a half week the last week of term, so seems strange to be here all week! I only work one week of the hols

Basically as above - I need a printer which is robust, but can store jobs so that confidential printing can be sent to a central machine. A step down from a photocopier really. Does anyone have something like this? Thanks.

Hi! It's me! You might remember me posting about this last year, but I volunteer with the Chernobyl Children's Project UK. One of the things the charity does is to go out to Belarus and work with disabled children and adults who live in institutions. I'm off out there in a couple of weeks and am fundraising money to buy things for the people out there (not to fund my trip - I pay for that myself). So we use the money to buy craft materials, games, toys etc. and use them to create a wonderful holiday for everyone there. The folks out there don't have access to these sorts of things usually.
