Hello, A Dell DCNE (not sure of any other name for this? A Google brings up Latitude) I read to move the PSWD pin from the 2 pins on the left to the 2 pins on the right (out of 3) - but there are only 2 pins altogether! I took out the little battery and now it seems a bit of a mess... Anyone know what I need to do? The BIOS is still password protected. Thanks, Novalee

Yeah Jessops are 'back in business' - bought my camera off them a few weeks ago.

Well it will be allowed for all, but only one student will have the shortcut. Seem to have done it now - have put the .exe file on the server and copied the shortcut to the students work area.

I just ran it from my desktop and a hidden .pcfg file appeared, so I guess it's this.

I am trying to create an exception to a software restriction policy under 'additional rules'. For an .exe file to run from a flash drive for some portable software for one student in particular. I have put the file name in and set as unrestricted, but it just will not run. Could this be something to do with it being on a flash drive? Any advice? Thanks.

Well we actually have Foxit as standard school wide pdf reader. Could this be the problem then?

Everytime someone on our Windows 7 machines opens a pdf link in IE9 it crashes. Originally the problem was that it opened with an 'oval' picture - sure you all know the one! But now it crashes. We can save target as, and open that way but it's not an ideal solution. Has anyone seen this before? Thanks

Another vote for Spiceworks here - also great for keeping inventory (not sure if that costs anything, I just use it! Not in charge of it...)
