  1. We have over 100 parents on each order, and we're now on our third order! I created a spreadsheet and once per week I get up at 0500 to scroll through the 33 screens of tedium to see how the redemptions are going and manually add the tick to the spreadsheet. There is no simpler way.
  2. Thank you all - it's helped a humble Data Manager out no end :-)
  3. So, if I understand this correctly, the dot doesn't matter. But we are sending to the undotted address and receiving replies from the dotted address. Could this be right?
  4. Yep, we've disabled the e-mail address and contacted our parent by other means. We've checked routing out of our domain and it is leaving with the correct address. It's as if the unintended recipient has an alias set up on their account that matches our parent's address.
  5. We're on O365
  6. We have a weird thing happening with the e-mail of one of our parents. The mother of a couple of our students has her e-mail listed as [email protected] but any mails sent to this address are being sent to [email protected] which belongs to a completely different person! I’m aware of at least two messages that have done this. I checked one of the original messages and it was definitely sent it to [email protected] but it went to [email protected] who replied within minutes. Has anyone any idea what might be causing this? I’ve never come across anything like it.
  7. I put in an order for about 120 on Monday, they went to "fulfilled" status last night and today I am seeing some parents have manged to redeem them - so just over three working days.
  8. Nothing as yet, although I expect there will be something eventually. We may CAT test our new intake at some point in the autumn.
  9. I think, for most of us, it is! My wife's in a similar predicament, she has to take holiday that she has booked, regardless of whether we can actually go on holiday or not. I looked at this amendment. My reading of it is that this is there to protect those who *have* to work rather than those who *choose* to work - i.e. if you are a key-worker and have your holidays cancelled (or you cannot book any time off) then at the end of the holiday year you can carry forward some to the following years. Also, the press release reads like it applies only to the statutory minimum number of days (20), so once you have taken that then all other days are lost.
  10. Might get a decent crowd, at last
  11. Does Boris read EduGeek? Once again (in his twitter video) he mentions "teachers and all those who work in schools" - we're getting some recognition
  12. Reports / Student List / General Student List On RHS under "Select Data Area" change the first drop down from "Standard" to "Academic" Change the second drop down to "Subject Classes" Select Maths from the list of subjects and drag it to add a column to the report
  13. No access to SIMS to the moment, so I this is off the top of my head:- In General Student List oon the right hand side there is the ability to add other fields to the report, I think by default it is set to something like "Basic" but you can change this to "Curriculum" and then, from the drop down options, select "Classes of a subject" I can get full details on Monday, if that's any good.
  14. I usually use the General Student List and apply filters to that. One of the filters is "students who study subject x"
  15. As others have said, shelves are often empty. Around here some cafes and restaurants are offering people the chance to buy through them as their supply chains are not affected. It's good business for them and offsets some of the loss of earnings due to the drop in customers.
  16. We're surveying our parents and initial responses suggests that even key workers are keeping their offspring at home. Expecting 10-15% coming in.
  17. I'm currently in isolation with mild symptoms. I can empathise with those concerned about parents and other loved ones. My dad died on Monday. Nothing to do with this virus, he was very ill and his passing is something of a relief. Where this blasted thing does hurt though is in the aftermath of such an event. I didn't make it to the hospital in time to see him before he went, but even if I had I would not have been allowed in. I spent a hour in the car park with my mum and my sister, both desperately upset, and I couldn't hug them. Nor will I be able to for some time. And now we're moving on to the necessary arrangements, but uncertainty clouds everything. Will we even be able to have a funeral? We cannot possibly invite dad's friends and former colleagues because they're all over 70. Scenes from Italy with bodies being moved for mass cremation play on my mind. My only hope is that I do have the virus, and I can get tested to prove I've had it. Then, at least, I can see my family without fear of passing something on. Sorry if this is inappropriate, I had to get it off my chest.

    Y Code

There is something on the announcements page of MyAccount relating to this. DfE finally issued written guidance yesterday, in summary:- Y code - used to indicate a child self-isolating in accordance with Gov. recommendations I code - used to indicate a child that is ill with COVID-19 C code - used for a child kept away from school because of compromised health (but not self isolating) O code - used for a child kept away from school in any other situation (normally parent saying they don't want to send child)
  20. I've just sent this to my MP - I think we need something from TPTB to say what happens once you get better.
