Just make sure everyone is quoting for either the EES (1yr agreement) or the OVS-ES (3 yr agreement) otherwise you will end up with different costs on different products. From what I understand, everyone gets the same cost price from Microsoft and then its down to how capitalist the reseller is. Luke @Millgate is pretty good with this sort of thing and very competitive too.

Your job is as follows; Make your wife cry Make your parents cry Make her parents cry Make the bridesmaids cry Make everyone think your bestman is a liar. Get gifts for everyone at the top table When I say make them cry I mean by being all soppy and in touch with your emotional feminine. DO NOT punch any of them or be mean to them.

And therein lies the problem. A lot of people do a lot of work outside of their remit to enable departments to function correctly which means that the extra work is effectivly free. I dont think that this is taken into account anywhere other than the department they are working in. This results in the extra work being unrecognised at head/LA/Govt level and so decisions are made incorrectly.

No, i'm afraid that I dont have a report for it. I just use something that is distinctly lacking in education at the moment - common sense.

Yes and without doubt there are some children with genuine problems that need support. However, there are far more that are statemented out of convenience.

We stop creating labels for kids and stop making excuses?

You might be struggling to get codes as they are probably different in UK to those in Aus. I cant help other than to suggest trying local suppliers, which looks like you might have already..... Are you sure the codes are different MS ones or are they the suppliers own codes? Just make sure that they are all quoting on the same EES agreement - 1yr or 3yr.

Just remember to document what colours are for what purpose. Also, make sure you are paying attention when it comes to removing replacing the odd cable or the whole point of it goes out the window and you end up messing around for ages

New School, New Licensing, New Everything!!

* 2 and by that I mean make two copies of the handbook and keep them seperately where you know they are. Also make sure that any kit has the warranty details tucked away in here as well as renewal dates for things like AV/MS...... -
Dont be silly, of course I dont work for free. Yes, it may well be factored into a quote for work that MAY be completed but that WILL be comparable with others who are supply only. Would you expect a decorator to charge you for coming around and giving you a quote?

Any company that wants to charge you for a survey needs shooting. I know that luke @Millgate can sort these things out free of charge and you will get a proper report back.

I have a habit of buying cars that turn into bangers! In the last 3 years I have had the below cars and got shot of them all as problems started to mount up.... Impreza STi - Bonnet scoop nearly tore bonnet off! Mondeo Auto - Overdrive on gearbox failed Toyota Celica - VVTLi system failed Challenger - engine started to go bang! Shogun - engine cracked and started pouring oil out Laguna - gearbox/DMF/Clutch (replaced all of them and still have this car)

I cannot see the school being fined for it at all. If it was a school ipad then maybe but not if its their personal one and their personal purchases. You dont have any control over what they install, look at, show other people in the same way as you couldnt be held responsible if they illegally downloaded some music and used that in their lessons?

I dont think its the schools issue really is it? Her personal ipad and her personal purchases....might be worth them checking what apps and what the EULA restrictions are though.

Nope, just tried to click on the vote button on the picture. Do I need to like the company on FB as well? -
Is it wrong to block non manager staffs work calls outside of hours?

In the same way that its unprofessional to ask your IT tech at work to fix your personal laptop. For free. -

Definitely fine with the black listing option here. If you open that door then you can never close it again. You will become a 24/7 work and personal IT monkey. -
I was in the TA at Uni - Royal Electrical Mechanical Engineers. Absolutely fantastic time and would have loved to go to stay or even go to Sandhurst after Uni. However, kids & wife change how you view things and with what was kicking off at that time -Iraq, Afghanistan - I had to leave. I guess that I just want/need something that means I am doing something useful, purposeful with my life. The song 'Little Boxes' drives me mad at the moment becuase I am terrified of being one of those sorts of people. There must be more to life!?

Ok a bit more info. I am already a special and I do enjoy it, my concern is that the shifts, leave getting cancelled, impact on OH and children would make me resent the job. I know that I will look back if I dont do it and think 'what if' I also think that it would probably take 3- 4 years to get back to where I am now if the police didnt work out. The continued removal of areas that I had dreamed of joining are all being cut - horses, motorcycle, traffic. On the other hand, in 3 years time it would open up the possibility to emmigrate to Canada and work as a police officer over there which would be amazing.
