    It might be in a box and will need a certain amount of assembly. Now there is an idea, collect it from the depot and proceed to unwrap and assemble at the collection desk...(although as its not really the couriers fault this might be a bit harsh)

    You must have a licence for that machine already - OEM, Open Licence, Reatil Box..... You cannot use the agreement to install a new licence on a new machine that doesn't not already have an OS licence. The schools agreement is in effect and upgrade licence as far as OS is concerned.

    I havn't really dealt with this side of things but I want to embrace convergence on a personal level. I want my phone (HTC 8) to have access to the same music (itunes), photos, docs, email as my ipad, Win 7 laptop and ipod. I also want to access this from any other PC in the world should I want to. Is there a decent cloud offering that would support this? What setup do other people have? Thanks

    I think thats only the case if you are blocking someone getting OFF the drive but not blocking them getting ONTO the drive.

    You only need to have Win home OEM as the base licence. Anything else is a waste of money as its not required.

    The only issue I have with that is that the demos tend to be so restricted its impossible to get a good feel for the game.

No more being able to rent a game to see if its worth bothering to waste £40-£50 then........at least initially. The whole thing stinks of MS trying to get as far up publishers @rse' as possible to try and convince them to devote most of their resources to Xbox dev rather than PS dev.

    This little gem too A new generation of games with power from the cloud: Because every Xbox One owner has a broadband connection, Pretty big asumption. I guess people who just want to play games without having to be online will be staying with 360 or going PS4 then!

    I agree. As for the authors comment 'According to my estimations – verified by a CIO – this figure should be less than £1,000 per year'.....oh really? Maybe for a standard office based desktop but no way when taking into account MI5 / MI6 etc type equipment.....

    Always amazes me at how quickly people on here like to shoot down and stamp all over a new supplier. I appreciate you may be trying to help others not get burned but this whole thread stinks of guilty until proven innocent. We are all busy, we all have had bad experiences with our suppliers but not everyone is out to rip us off.

    Why would they want that? Never used them or had need for LED message board but these guys seem to have a large selection - Single Line LED Sign - Single Line LED Signs - Single Line LED Display - Single Line LED Displays
