We also use PDQ Deploy, we used to spend hours every few months creating packages, sometimes screwing it up! Now with PDQ Deploy/Inventory just set it and forget it! Even better now it as autodeployment options

2008 R2 and 2012 R2 DC's. From memory it just adds 1 logon to a database and takes it off at logoff, all via logon/logoff scripts. If a user tries to logon onto another computer then it will logoff the second logon and quickly display the initial computer name they are logged onto.

Pdq Deploy and Pdq Inventory has come on leaps and bounds in the last few releases. AutoDeployment, Heart beat and retry queue have now made it a viable solution.

On ours you can select which input to start screen with, this is in the screen menu. Works for us, maybe this is only on scheduled startup?
