We only allow VPN on school owned laptops for exactly the reasons above.

I have already removed the patch then tried the registry fix HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\CCM\CcmEval\NotifyOnly from FALSE to TRUE This SP1 it is RTM isnt it so is it supported will it have to be removed when its fully released. I'm not glad! I removed the patch but its still broken becuase its modified WMI I think I need to reinstall the SMS Providor but i'm not sure how at the minute I may have to call microsoft.

Update- Looks like this update broke my sccm pxe update installed on 13/12/12 Microsoft Update KB2506143 (Windows Management Framework 3.0) that was released by Microsoft on 12/12/2012 Spent many hours trying to fix it and may have to call MS and try and use one of my EES/ Technet Direct calls to hopefully fix it! I'm so angry!!!

Our SCCM 2012 PXE is broken again. I had trouble back in April and spent days on it and I have sepnt all this week trying to get it working again. Try setting the network card setting to bridged ethernet rather than shared

In my opinion Microsoft have overcomplicated Software Updates we are and will probably continue to use the "simple" WSUS on a different server although I am using software updates to inject updates into our images offline which is handy. I did try to use it to push out Adobe updates but it didnt like the fact that computers were configured to use WSUS aswell.

I think this is why we stuck with GameMaker7 we deploy that via MSI/Group Policy
