I'm getting inconsistent imaging of windows partitions when using DeployStudio for deploying bootcamp so I thought I would give WinClone imaging a go to see if its more reliable. It seems to work in terms of deploying the winclone image via DeployStudio but it doesn't autoname the computer name like the DeployStudio bootcamp imaging does. Any ideas anyone? Thanks, AliG

We use DeployStudio to deploy the initial dual boot scenario but we have just successfully started to reimage the windows partition (Partition 4) via sccm. I did have to capture an image from an imac with bootcamp installed though as couldn't figure out how to silently deploy bootcamp when using our standard desktop image. I'm still not sure if this helps us because its just as easy to reimage with DeployStudio.

I had exactly the same issue approx. 12 months posted in the Smoothwall Forum http://www.edugeek.net/forums/smoothwall-direct-support/101581-byod-testing.html A quick call to the Smothwall support team did the trick. I had to allow access from the new port2 interface to port 80 and 442 - System - Administration - External Access Now I can get to the SSL Login page and continue with the BYOD testing

It appears in Monitor - Overview but the settings are in Organisation - Settings - Chrome OS Device Management

Some IOS7 settings have now appeared and also noticed support for chrome devices i.e. chromebooks. Strange thing neither have appeared in new features or the help!

I have found that you have to force the install of apps from meraki then they prompt for install. The ipad doesn't seem to regularly check in for apps?

I'm finding if I enable zero-IT and Web Captive/Portal it never provides access to the portal/zero-it and only asks for a wifi password. I'm on firmware 9.6. It seems this only works on 9.5? I would like to get this work if possible so I can use DPSK rather than having the BYOD network open with Captive Portal. @Distinove @timbo123 what firmware are you using?

You don't get codes they just appear in your google control console although you should receive email confirmation of this

I think you can use dynamic psk but I never got it working properly. The smoothwall WPA enterprise option may work soon with ruckus roles correctly, apparently it's a bug in how the MAC address is dealt with I think I saw a smoothwall kb article regarding this if/when it's fixed it may be the best solution.

I believe you can also add Google Vault for email auditing and retension etc. extra cost though from what i've seen.

You could look into WebDav. Basically home directory access over HTTP(s) and its natively supported via the ipad.

Thanks for the info guys. Its now configured and accessible via iSCSI. I cant see how to modify the current protection groups to use the new disk? I have this bad feeling I might have to recreate the protection groups?

I have just purchased a QNAP TS-569 Pro and i'm looking for some advice regarding its best config regarding DPM 2012. This model is 20TB and configured for Raid5 giving me a capacity of almost 15GB. Now i'm not sure if it would be best left as one virtual disk of split into several virtual disks for best use in DPM to use for backup. Advice please?

In DPM does the QNAP get configured as Local Storage or tape and also can it be used for short term or long term backup or both?

So if i buy a QNAP which would be stored in a different building do I need to purchase an iSCSI adaptor for the DPM server? Im unsure and assumed I could use the existing network adaptors in the server over IP? QNAP im considering is something like Qnap Ts-569 Pro 20TB 5 Bay NAS | Ebuyer.com
