My understanding from the email is they are just stopping you from adding any more users to your custom domain so create any users you would like now and they will continue to support the accounts you have. You can get 90 day trial of office 365 and of you don't pay the will convert you back just to the outlook.com account but you won't be able to add any new users .

I would be interested if this can be done as I haven't found a way to do it ad hoc before sending.

If you go to Sharepoint Admin site , then settings . It will have option to change newsfeed for users to Yammer service under Enterprise Social Collaboration

We need to get 5G mobile wireless here and not depend on BT for internet , South Korea have it running up to 10Gb/s while we can barely get 4G in the UK. I see use having 100mb low ping FFTC line for gaming , VOIP and video calls in home and large data traffic like TV and downloads where latency isn't issue over mobile data connection for the speed/bandwidth.

Sounds like the wireless is working in 20mhz mode rather than 40mhz mode . On wireless N cards 20mhz mode gives you up to 65mbps connection and 40mhz gives up to 130mbps in single band mode . I believe dual band gives up to 300mbps connection but not 100% sure so hopefully someone can correct me .

We do exactly the same as above and it works no problems . Network is important else they just use google to check spellings

Vmware Convertor is the way to go , just partition it to the smaller size before converting using volume based conversion rather than disk based and export the volume to temp location setting it as a smaller drive size , delete the larger drive from the machine , then move over the smaller drive partition and attach it to the VM with smaller total drive size, downside is you need some downtime when you delete and attach the drive and it can take a while to convert depending how much data is on the source drive, ideally you want to do the whole process while the VM is off.

I had this with a corrupt active directory object mostly caused by hard power off at some point . Might be worth running check for corruptions in active directory else look group policy corruptions .

There is a tool I use which I think is called Admodify on codeplex to set which oab (offline address book) and the base dn in Active directory for auto complete to search on under the exchange tabs of the program. We have two address books one for staff and one for students the auto complete only looks at the default address book so staff will only auto complete for staff but they can see students if they switch to the second address book and manually click which students they need. Students get both staff and students as default so autocomplete works well for them

The problem is due to faulty batch of DLP chips that Casio have to replace to fix issue , I've had about 40 repairs done over last 3 years. You will know if you have faulty chip if it as black/white pixels on the screen regardless of source connect or it is dim or out of focus in corners or grey lines on white background don't show up . To be fair to fair all have been replaced/repaired no issues and always got good projector in return

Sorry I meant Outlook Anywhere which is really just RPC over HTTP , I used this guide to get it to connect How can I configure RPC over HTTP/S on Exchange 2003 (single server scenario)? , I move the Exchange over in to open connection via ISA 2006 server. You shouldn't need any more ports opened over than port 80 and 443 , the ports in the guide are just for internal servers to talk to each other.

I've just done exchange 2003 to office 365 . If you do the exchange test to get exchange anywhere working it's fairly easy to migrate the emails over in few days. I just followed the staged migration guide and used the office 365 wizard with dirsync
