Ah it was the double the bandwidth bit.

That's not how it works is it? The idea is that your phone / device works a a 'control' and directs the stream to the chrome cast. ?

We have done it for ~90" diaganol pull down screens. They do get a bit of curve at the edge of the screen but other than that it works quite well. Fixed or tensioned screen is ideal though - but quite a lot extra $$$$

Merc looking quick half way through FP1

I've been with ebico for years now. They are a not for profit company and use(d) Sse to supply. No standing charge and a single tariff. Easy and cheap. They have however just moved supply partners.... to Robin Hood ! So far customers seem to be in the middle of a bit of a battle between ebico and Sse with contradictory letters from both of them several times. However my gas and electric will be 4.5% less!

It's a shame. But it's hardly the end of the world. Except for those eBay sellers!

Sort of hijacking this thread a bit - but I've just left a frustrated headteacher with regards to LA SIMS/Support service. Do any companies - Capita or otherwise allow you to spead the licence cost of SIMS across a 3 (or more) year period? Budget is tiny so cant take the cost of a Capita licence up front. And they don't really want to stop with the LA......

Indeed. I never found cable select to be reliable at all. Did gig always have your optical drive on the second channel or as a slave ?

Ah I had blue and yellow beauties like that too. Only recently threw out my scsi 50 pin cables (and 4x external cd writer)

My 306 HDi was one of the best cars I've had. Plenty of power / torque for the size of car and great economy. Also pretty tree proof - well kept is alive after one fell on us! Got a Subaru Impreza after that. Now that's an engine

The trouble is the software was perceived to be 'free' (it wasn't really) and now they want money for it. I think it's a good model but they have the pricing too high for non-Smart devices. I understand why but it means people continue to use old versions illegally - and check out alternatives.

I was quoted somewhere between £6-7 per device per year. That was a 3 year deal. It worked around < £6 each on a 5 year deal.

Out here at the test. First time I've ever been and I'm like a kid in a sweet shop. Casually chatting aero with Gary Anderson over breakfast this morning - and had a photo with Ted Kravitz yesterday (also mad max - but it's Ted that everyone wants!). Cars look better on track with the shark fin but the merc still looks best - without it. They did a lot of running without it yesterday

I *always* park and leave it in gear. It's just an extra failsafe. I have occasionally forgot in a hurry and lurched forward into the wall a couple of times many years ago.

Ha ha I said 'manor have bought mclaren' when it was revealed live. It looked red under the lights. I do love it however and think mclaren could surprise a few people this season.

Wow yes. We need to dismantle and get rid of ours now. Maybe this will save me a job!

Had to move garden furniture into the garage after it scared the **** out me when the chair hit the (top half) of the window. And the kids 8 feet trampoline has physically moved across the garden. That's not particularly lightweight and has plenty of holes for the wind to pass through.

I reckon 9 left. The two that are down will help relieve pressure ! Are they repairable or have the gone for a flying lesson ?

Seriously it's been very windy in south yorks (Sheffield / Rotherham) since Monday and it's defo picked up again with the wind. Had to do a hospital run with my little girl last night and some huge puddles across the road. But drier now.

Southerners: stay on doors and do not travel Northerners: you'll need your big coat.

The new cars are fugly. The best thing so far are the liveries. Merc looks sweet from shots today. Big birthday for me yesterday and my wife booked for us to go watch testing at Barcelona next week - with paddock tour. Looking forward to that!

We buy through distribution but prices have defo gone up over last few months. The dollar / pound plus a shortage of ssd's seem to be the cause.

Yeah that's what I'd read but hadn't looked in detail. Thanks.

It was changed just in the last couple of weeks. I have a dozen or so schools using free but new sign up are cost options
