We've taken a different approach. We make up 3 and 5m Cable snakes in woven nylon cable tubing. These run directly to the teacher's desk secured with releasable cable ties. If a cable fails we just swap out the snake for a spare and fix it later. Gives us flexibility and supports the cables well on the desk. Can be run in trunking as well if required for neatness. Also cheaper to get installed!

Yes, our google workspace alert centre has told me that emails sent from [email protected] at 13:35 were flagged as phishing/email. Let's hope it get sorted quickly - staff will need to update each other manually about incidents and update later. I'm loath to just whitelist CPOMS in case there is a problem...

Not a complete answer but HDMI cables with a right angle connector on one end help. Just make sure you get the orientation right or you'll be inverting a lot of faceplates!

If they've worked possibly the DC is not even connected! There should be a notice by each inverter with system details and installer name. You could try SMA support in Milton Keynes for a local PV enginer.

Do you have any ights/display on? They are driven by the DC side. Normally each inverter is linked to at least one string of panels in series so a break will stop it but unusual for both to be broken. I've seen one where squirrels chewed the cables through! Do you have a DCclamp meter to check for current/voltage? With AC off you could check the removable link underneath is ok. SMA are really solid inverters so unusual to see 2 faulty.

We get ours from RSPB as it helps to support them. We have to store ours in a metal dustbin in one of our sheds (yes we have 3!) or the mice/rats/shrews will chew through plastic to get to it.

+1 for Teltonika. I've used the 3G version for solar PV farm monitoring. The ones we have out there are still working fine and don't hang. From memory there is a watchdog timer. If it fails X pings in y minutes it restarts. On the older models you could also send a text message to restart/check status.

Pretty much all public libraries use it for borrowing ebooks. I use it on my kobo reader and it's been a godsend in lockdown. There is map of local overdrive organisations including some schools.but I'm on my mobile so can't find it. Maybe contact a few and see if they can help?
