Article: FaceBook Updates Privacy Settings - Again
powdarrmonkey replied to CAM's topic in Legacy CMS Comments

powdarrmonkey replied to computers_r_the_enemy's topic in Windows Server 2000/2003
You'll get my opinion whether you want it or not. That's how forums work. Your attitude has reeked all through this thread and others today. Maybe you ought to consider how that's reflecting on your reputation. -

Hmm, what did you have for them? Video players, tellys, UPSs etc? -
Er... I'm supporting your opinion.

Schoolbase or ISAMS - what would you decide
powdarrmonkey replied to Roguesooty's topic in MIS Systems
For the sake of everyone else watching this thread because they're facing the same decision, please keep discussion in the open unless it involves confidential information (which means you probably shouldn't be exchanging it with strangers in the first place...). -

Domain Renewal Group
powdarrmonkey replied to Stuart_C's topic in Internet Related/Filtering/Firewall
These letters are becoming common and you're right, they are NOT from your normal registrar and if returned, you WILL be initiating a transfer to the company sending the letters (so don't). Please complain about them to ICANN and your domain registrar, since the details are generally harvested from whois and for most whois providers, this is a breach of usage terms. -
Number of Computers, versus Number of Images
powdarrmonkey replied to AnnDroyd's topic in Network and Classroom Management
We do about 500 machines with my single one-touch start-me-off-and-I'll-do-all-the-rest XP image, by embedding drivers in our own repository and allowing it to install them as required. -
