Hi all, Like most schools we have proxy settings here that apply at logon. However, the proxy settings seem to be removing themselves every few hours and as you can imagine its causing a problem. They're not deleting themselves its just the box to use proxy settings in LAN Settings unticks....anybody got any ideas? Would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks

Hi guys, Have 2 Host Servers here running 5 VMs on each (Hyper-V) but we have a problem with time and it keeps getting out sync. Any ideas how we can setup the primary DC to sync with a UK time server... Many thanks, George

Hi, We're looking into getting new Broadband here, and have had a quote from Exa Networks. Anybody had any bad experiences? They seemed quite good when they came in and I like the features they offer. Interested in how people find their filtering too. Hello. On Friday a file was deleted. I tried to restore it with the Shadow Copy and it appeared to 'copy' everything back to how the folder looked on Friday. However, loads of files have gone missing. Is there a way to 'undo' the restore because now where I go to previous versions its empty. So I got to the Backup that was taken Friday night and when I try to restore using NTBackup I get the following error 'the backup file contains unrecognized data and cannot be used' Any ideas? Got loads of files I no longer have access to. George.

After *a lot* of persistence with HP, they gave me the correct driver. You just have to be persistent.

I had this problem after installing Backup Exec. I gave up and setup a VM for WSUS. Sorry that isn't much help.

Well I don't remember choosing to be gay. Did you remember making the choice to be presumably straight? I think you're born with it and I don't think environmental pressures are an influence unless it happens very early on. I remember being aged 6/7 and feeling different as I didn't 'like' girls. I was also raised in a religious family, and believe me you certainly wouldn't choose to gay in that situation!

Still doesn't work! I download the driver from the Intel website, extracted it and uploaded it to WDS and the Capture image. However, 14 of the files wouldn't add and I'm wondering if they are the ones required for it to pick up an IP address. They won't add I can only assume because they're unsigned drivers. I copied one .inf file to my memory stick, one that the a poster said worked on the link you sent and I tried to inject that driver but I got an error code back.

Network card is an Intel. Intel I217-LM.

Yep if I go ipconfig it just says "Windows IP Configuration"
