Yes InVentry supports this, you can specify what mark you want depending in the sign in time frame too.

Hi all, I've inherited an ubuntu server (10.13) hosting FOG 0.32. I'm in the process of updating everything but following apt upgrade I'm no longer able to access the FOG interface page. any ideas? apache is running and I get the IT works page for the host but fog/management/index.php can't be found thanks

Hi, If your using miFare cards with your InVentry unit you can add integration between them and have InVentry populate the Paxton Database for you.

Hi Just wondered if you managed to sort this one out? I wrote this script a few years ago that would accomplish this and solve an issue if still present the the client seems to randomly stop from time to time and relaunch it. Papercut Client randomy closing? heres is a fix for you (edugeek.net)

you should be able to get office 365 and g suite for free. I would definitely go down the office 365 route for staff

papercut mobility print for the win

we usually synced parent pay with sims via its own sync client. you should be able to download this and related instructions from the parent pay website once logged in. unless you have your own account they will not assist you.

Firstly you would need a licence adding to inventry for integration. you could then either have users signed into inventry when entering a paxton door or have a paxton door release when scanning into inventry or both. it can also be configured to create your users in paxton from your inventry system additionaly meaning that if your users are created via your MIS/AD its can be very automated.

2nd for app locker. you may also be able to block it with your AV too I know sophos has the the ability. another quick dirty way would be to add a task kill command for the running application to the login script. taskkill /IM applicationname.exe /f another alternative I have done in the past when building the images is to install the driver using the inf files rather that the full software package. but this would clear need to be part of the image Build.

I was quite a fan of spiceworks for this originally using the on premises setup but moved to the online help desk towards the end of my role. Nice simple and free. Great community support and banter too.

Hi, I ran into this issue a while ago going from site wide 880 smart board using 11.4, we added 2 e70 touch screens and had nothing but issues. tried adding new drivers but smart ink basically stops working randomly. we ended up buying a site license to upgrade. from my supplier I got 3 years for £550 all in.

Hi, I haven't used this add-in but did use the merge and split add-in from the same site. which worked very well. best of all it's nice and free!

You could also look into itarian. this is free for a limited amount of users and has remote control for remote access.

if your using office 365/exchange you could just set an alias address to the original account and then make that the default this means everything remains in the same account and emails still arrive to the old address. this means you dont have to migrate anything you would simply have to update the users name. The user can simply log in with the new address and existing password.

Hi ryanplym, thanks for using my script, I hope it resolved the issues you were having. I know some others were having this issue and this was the quickest way to resolve it I could find. I tried all sorts of remedies at my school, DNS was fine, network didn't seem to be the issue, local client or remote both had the same results. I no longer work for the school (I now work for Inventry) and dont have the facilities to further test the script or research the issue further but I will try to support where possible. Hi all, I just wanted to share a script i have created for anybody having issues with the papercut print client randomly closing and not running. This is a major issue if you are using account selection or scripting that produces popups like me. I have therefore created the attached vbs script and assigned it as a schedualed task to check if its running and lauch it if not. I use the triggers for every 5 minuets, on logon and resume from standby. Under windows 10 you will also need to add an AppLocker rule to allow this to run. My staff laptops leave the school with teachers so I also have the script copy to the local macine with GPP (papercut programs folder as it will be blocked from running in the root C: drive) The only thing you will need to modify is the print server hostname on line 28 and the papercut installation path if you are using an older version of papercut which resides its client in Programs Files (x86), everthing else should work as is but that is down to you to check before deployment. The script will also work to launch the client at user logon (some code is simply here for testing and development at this stage) PapercutClientCheck.vbs

not at the moment, I have 1809 and some 1803. its just my 1903 that seem to be affected

oddly I've just gone into settings>Cortana and selected a language and the menu seemed to work after but doesn't seem to carry across to other users and needs completing per user scrap that didn't work on another machine.
