I don't have much web design knowledge and have only really dabbled with a couple of web sites myself. What i have noticed is that more sites now seem to be suing a similar style ( what i refer to as a modern design) Is there a specific way or specific software that you now create sites like this or am i barking mad? Any help or advice?

We have a couple of old Epson EMP-52 projectors here which have been taken down and replaced by newer models. We want o use these old Epsons for just fitting to random laptops and using to project to non IWBs Trouble is the display is set for upside down ( as they were ceiling mounted). I can't seem to figure out out to rotate the display back to normal without a remote, which of course we have lost or should i say the teaching staff have lost over the years. Does anyone know if this can be done or does anyone have a spare/old remote?

We have a network of 3Com switches and we want to add some wireless kit. We currently have a couple of AP doing minor things but we want o make certain areas (hall, gym) of the school wireless enabled. I thought of keeping it all 3Com but a few suppliers have recommended Colubris kit. Is anyone using this or can give opinions on both options?

Found out what it was witht he custom MMC. I had it running in author mode, as soon as si changed it to limitied user it worked. @Wiseman I would still like to know if you can limit what your password software has access to?

I am still trying to get this working, I have installed the admin tools on staff members laptop and put the custom msc concole on but they cannot use it. i have tried putting the custom console onto a shared area it still does not work. It comes up with an error 'Current Policies prevent the microsoft management Console from opening in author mode. Consult your administrator for details.' I have a interactive drugs cd for use in PHSE lessons. I have copied the contents of the cd to a folder in a shared area that students have access to. I have hidden all the files and folders except the index.htm file that is used to launch the contents. I have tested it all and all the links work fine. My one problem is that a link launches a .exe file which is a flash based questionnaire. I then get prompted to 'save' , 'run' or 'cancel', If i click on run i then get prompted by another pop up box to run the application. If i do all this it does work ok for pupils but is there anyway i can stop this from happening?

Set Up. Roaming profiles, Folders redirected via GPO for Desktop and Application data. We recently had a new server and i moved all the home directories and profiles to the new server. problem was i ran scripts to set the new paths while some users were still logged in and i also forgot to chaneg the location of the redirected folders in GPo for a couple of days as well. ... Now all is fine except they do not get the wallpaper that is proveded by a the GPO. The wallpaper location is correct and if i delete someones profile or create a new one the wallpaper appears. What i am trying to find out is which part of the profile is casuing the problem. I know if i delete the application data folder only and let this recreate it works but i dont want to do this as it contains a lot more important info to the profile. Does anyone know or have any ideas? as i dont want to recreate a new profile for everyone.

All our staff have roamining profiles. I am having a problem where when a memeber of staff sets a printer as default the next time the log on it does not seem to remember and defaults back to the CutePDF writer we have installed.

When logged onto the network the staff are locked down and have hardly any access to the c:drive. The problem i have is when things like Adobe Reader has an update. While on the network the updater pop up telling them they have an update butof course they have no permission to install? Is there a simple way of getting round this without changing to many permissions. ie could i just give the staff (via GPO) permission to the c:\program files\adobe\ folder?

I have downloaded the Smartboard Admin installs of the software and the gallery essentials. The software installs fine with out any problems and so does the gallery. But i am unsure about the gallery, it is only a 7mb file. . On first run it appears ot want to connect to the Internet to get the galleries? Is this correct? or is it just looking for updates? Are all the galleries inside that 7mb file? How odes the install work? Please help me understand this?
