Can anyone help, i am trying to add additional roles when adding staff to 'Manage Classroom staff' There are the normal default codes but i would like to add to this if possible and can't seem to find out how or where? It currently looks like this, but also if i try and run 'Reports>Timetables> staff timetables' and then choose by role the same options come up so ai am guessing where ever it is is doing both areas?

How do you handle this? We have quite a lot of staff offf long term and we are constantly getting supply teachers in. We were issuing paper registers but this is not working well enough. How do you do it?

I've tried that now and it fails with ''Login failed for user NETWORK\USER'' (POPULATED WITH A USER ON OUR NETWORK) i can't seem to find that settign anywhere - even though i knwo the user and password has not been changed

We use NRS for our cashless catering, since the new year 7's started and photos added to Sims the seems to be a issue with the photos appearing on the tills? Does anyone know how to force the photos over to the tills?

Just stumbled across this post and we are in the same mess with the app. We plan roiling out the student app next week to year 7 and to say i'm worried is an understatement.

Not good when you are trying to get your parents on board. Our year 7 parents are pulling their hair out. But i don think its any better for other years parents because it used to work for them and now does not.

Is any one else experiencing issues with Sims Parent App, our end seems to work ok sending invites out to parents. But...............the parents seem to be having lots of issues registering, then th epasword they used is coming back with incorrect password. It seems like parents are going around in some sort of loop.

All our teaching staff were given laptops for when we were in lockdown. All are 365 accounts, all using email, teams and one drive. The one thing we never had time to sort was using Sims. They currently remote into our RDP servers for Sims access but we want to move away from this. Has anyone achieved similar?

Managed to do this individually on certain users but can't find a way to do this on Mass via GPO as the GPO settings only seem to be able to exclude files not folder's. Did you have the same problem?

We have recently moved all home directories from local servers to OneDrive. All is working well but we seem to now have problems running reports in Sims, mainly when exporting to excel. If i preview the report it shows correct data, if i run the report it shows nothing like the data that was in the preview. Do we need to do anything particular now we have moved to OneDrive as far as Sims is concerned?

Complete Novice when it comes to Mac, I've inherited a suite full of Mac's, currently they dual boot with an older version of Windows 10. What i want to know is can i update just the windows side of the dual boot to the latest version of Windows 10? If so how do i go about it?

So i have understood correctly, if say a SLT Team is set up by the Office 365 tenancy manager he automatically becomes an owner even if he adds another owner and he if he wants to can see all chats and file sin the SLT Team if he choose to even though he is not a member just an owner? Even chatss or channel chats?

With Easter holidays looming its that time again when an few new staff start. I've been asked to give login accounts and email accounts to these new staff as they are coming in tomorrow for one day before they officially start on the 16th April. I have raised concerns about giving new staff login details to the network, Sims and Remote Access before they are officially employed by us as i feel these could be a Data Protection issue especially as we all have the GDPR looming in May. Could i have a few opinions p;lease, what would you / do you do in this situation?

I have very little experience with assessment manager so please bear with me. Is there a report or can one be designed that will look for blank/empty cells on a marksheet to save having to go through each one to find out which staff have missed things? Or is there any other way of quickly doing this?

We have two Smart E70 that we want to fit in a large training room. The signal will come from one PC via HDMI We are worried about cable length not only with the HDMI but also the USB. WE'll need to split the HDMI signal to the two IWB and also have one USB cable to each IWB for interactivity. Has anyone down this if so could you advise on cabling requirements, length issues etc

I've got a member of staff who has a double lesson on Tuesdays but when they mark the register the first period they lesson marks do not carry on to the second period. this then creates a missing register alert for the attendance office who chase it up I know other is somewhere you can tell Sims its a double lesson but i cant remember where. Is it Sims or in T6?

Thanks for this Mukesh but a lot of our users only use OWA, this is why i need something server based to run on exchange.

The example given shows for a set date, would i be right in thinking that you would remove the date and just leave the time to get this work say every friday with a scheduled task running on fridays on the exchange box?
