Twice over the limit and driving @ 140mph = Jackass. BBC - Newsbeat - Jackass star Dunn twice over limit before fatal crash

Or, I like to view the web the way the web designer intended, not the way Steve Jobs tells me. I wonder what would be said if Microsoft had announced that tey were not allowing flash to be installed in windows, there would be outcries and lawsuits no doubt.
-
I like to view 100% of the internet not just 30%.

What are the pro's and cons of upgrading the server backend only and leaving the clients as XP, can you still run print scripts etc? How smooth is the upgrade from 2003 to 2008 on a DC?
-
Indeed, you're not wrong there.
-
I am still running XP and a 2003 domain here, I have not started any research yet but I am looking to upgrade Domain and Clients to Win 7 and 2008 summer 2012. I really need to set up a test network and get it running. The main fear I have is upgrading my DC's, will they upgrade from 2003, and sorting out the printers as they run through a script and I believe thats out with 2008/W7.

To be honest I do not care about rep on an internet forum, I was just pointing out that it seems hypocritical to say you neg rep people for offending then leave an abusive/offensive comment.
-
The funny thing is that someone gives you neg rep for your opinion which they say offended them, yet they abuse and offend you with the comments, you can not see who has abused you. Example the neg rep I recieved for my initial jack ass comment So I can't voice an opinion on some overated idiot who died being an idiot without getting abused in rep for voicing such an opinion, great.

I have seen plenty of noses which are just down to people being plain ugly and nothing to do with fighting, I have never seen a car in that state that has crashed doing the speed limit, sorry.
-
To be honest I would say who really cares about negative rep, it's not as if it affects your life really. Rep is overated
-
Have you seen the car, or should I say mangled wrechage tht looks nothing like a car, hardly caused by maintining the speed limit really need I say more?
-
And he was speeding so he was an idiot anyway regardless of Drink.
-
In the end he showed what a real Jackass he was.

You have all missed the point of the post, it was never about the playbook, it was about the marketing campaign highlighting one of the evident weakness of Apples strategy for the IPad in leaving out Flash! Notthe pro's and cons of the Playbook, it's more about Job's attemot to control content on the internet.
-
But it does run Flash though, so atleast you can view 70% of the web when you get connected

What happens when the address does not validate, for example my mate can not use the online forms for insurance etc as it does not recognise his flat. What happens then?

I am upgrading 35 machines around the school which which will run various programs from just DTP to Video Editing and Photoshop. I have a quote between dual core machines and quad core machines, there is a price difference of £50 between them, with a total difference over all of £1750. The question is should I go for the duals and save money to spend elsewhere, or go for the quads and have a bit more longevity. The 2 chips are: DC E5800 3.2ghz QC Q8300 2.5ghz Thanks

Thanks I have tried that, still throws up access denied when trying to edit specific parts.
-
Hi, I keep having a recurring problem with some group policy objects that I have created on Server 2003. They seem to work fine and then after an ramdom amount of time I am unable to edit certain parts of them just getting the message `Access Denied'. I able to a edit say Internet Explorer Maintenance and add in a URL, click apply and it applies fine. Move to something like system in administrative templates and change something, click apply and I get Access denied. Anyone have any ideas why this maybe happening as it becomes a bit boring having to re-create an entire GPO judt to make a single change. Thanks

The sad thing about politics is that people will just switch to Labour in the next election, who in turn will screw the country up as they have done in the last 13 years, the conservitives will come in try and tidy it up again, people will get annoyed and the merry-go-round continues.
