  1. There is of course also that possibility
  2. Ah, is there where Sylvester Stallone swings in on a rope and rescues him?
  3. Its probably the profession. The trouble with teachers (not all teachers) is that essentially they never live in the real world. The go to school as kids, behave like kids (in regards to their backstabbing and attitudes etc), then they go to college, university, then back into school again. Essentially they spend their entire lives in school, never experience the demands and behaviour that is required outside of working in a school. At least thats my very narrow-minded view on it
  4. Seems similar to that radioanywhere.co.uk one. Nicely presented site though, At £700 per year for us though I dont know if it would have the level of flexibility for the price, that we're looking for.
  5. Ah so my suspicions regarding the PPL are founded then, good good, useful info. For software I must admit that I am pretty impressed by that software Wey are using in the earlier link , Stationplaylist. Seems to have quite alot of features in it.
  6. Looks quite an interesting setup, though it appears they have had it all done through a third party company (cmgaudio) rather than themselves. There is a screenshot in one of their links of their station software but its a bit too small to see what the software is, I dont suppose cmgaudio would be willing to tell us which software they use so we can get it ourselves. EDIT : ahh..wait, no problems, I got the name of the station software from the image name
  7. Just sorting out the development of our School radio. Anyone know what licences are involved? I am assuming that the PRS licence is a necessity, but would we also need a phonographic performance licence if we are broadcasting copyrighted material? Anyone got any recommended method of delivery? I was thinking just something along shoutcast server lines, any better alternatives?

Talking of Mods, I am looking forward to seeing what the mod teams behind Deus Lo Vult and Stainless Steel can do with E:TW

    Empire: Total War?

Nah its not that bad, to be honest I only had the wall fire thing happen once. Bridges are a touch problematic to get units across though, but I'm sure that will be patched. Cant remember off the top of my head what the specs required are, my gaming rig is one of those over the top powerful things so I never pay much attention to the specs.

    Empire: Total War?

Smack him in the face for me then, the pathfinding on the troops can be a nightmare, trying to get your troops to cross a bridge is almost an exercise in frustration at times. Worse though was that at one point one section of my fort walls was on fire, and I told my troop on the walls to move down to the courtyard just in case. What did they do? They only went and walked through the fire getting most of them killed.
  11. I dont know, I thought his early reviews were quite good, but lately he seems to have become a parody of himself. Sometimes now he says things without being objective because it gets a laugh rather than because its a realistic comment

    Empire: Total War?

Yeah I am a bit puzzled by the 2nd chapter, I took the french place Fort Niagara, but then what? Didnt seem to be anywhere else to go. Am I supposed to turn on my iroquois allies and kill them too to end the chapter?

  18. I tend to agree that Heroes has lost its way somewhat. I also very much agree that Fringe is awesome, the mad scientist guy is one of the best characters on tv, some of the things he comes out with are superb. Also a huge fan of Bones, glad thats back.
  19. They are also making an MMO of it, for those online gamers amongst us

Incredible track record in those 2 families when you read the article. The boys father has 9 children, the girls mother has 6 children.
