If there's not a specific USB driver on their site you might have to do a bit of research to find which driver package contains them as I've seen it where they are part of the Chipset in the past.

Instead of capturing the drivers I would download them from HPs website and then add the USB 3 drivers to the image via SCCM.

We had this issue the other week so I contacted Serif and they gave me all the unlock codes for all the codecs so in a worst case scenario we can unlock them manually might be worth an email to their support - I know it's now legacy and unsupported but for something like this they might be willing to send you a quick email with the unlock codes.

What to get next? Nothing, we'll continue to use the Serif software that we purchased a couple of years ago. It hasn't suddenly broke and stopped working over night. We still use Adobe CS4 Design Suite from years and years and years ago - that too still works. Whenever a new version of Windows has come out we always test the existing software to confirm it works and the only issue (for example) we've seen with CS4 is that Flash doesnt install fully but we dont use that anyway so no issue for us!

We run a DISM command to do this via an SCCM Task Sequence when we deploy a software build via PXE etc. so it could easily be pushed out to clients as well - assuming you have SCCM that is?

If it's a VM then did you take a checkpoint/snapshot you could fall back on? If it was me and I didnt have a checkpoint/snapshot to fall back on then I'd start again to make sure you dont have any issues in the future. Are you following any guides? What is WSUS doing? All you need to do is install it and you must not configure it else SCCM wont install as it configures it itself?

I gave it a go last night on the BBC iPlayer and it was back to what Top Gear used to be so really enjoyed it and look forward to seeing the rest of the new series.

Either image it, backup and restore it to the SSD or P2V it & install the OS from scratch with your old server virtualised.

We have been using SCCM for a few years now and it's brilliant! We would have been using it sooner but were too busy to have a play at installing it but then we had no choice as we were having a DDOS attack coming from a computer internally so we installed SCCM over a couple of days and then deployed the client to everyone and soon we could see the AntiVirus/Malware results and could see which computer was performing the attack and the laptop (and user) was dealt with very swiftly. We don't use SCCM to it's full potential, just for Endpoint Protection, imaging a computer via PXE and publishing software to the Software Centre so end users can install software on their computers themselves.

We use SCCM for imaging our computers. Before SCCM we used Active@ Boot Disk which contained a few utilities including an imaging utility.

The Shopping Centre in MK didn't want a Millets store in their shopping centre. After years of trying Millets gave up asking and instead purchased the whole company of a chain of stores that had a store in the MK shopping centre and then rebranded it to a Millets store #problemsolved!

After reading all of this (and the report) I'm glad so glad we use SCDPM to backup to disk & tape along with critical servers (like Exchange, Data stores, a DC and SIMS servers) replicated to our old servers in another building! The other week when we had a power cut that zapped one of our storage devices, the affected handful of servers were back online on our replication servers within minutes of us failing them over! We also test both disk and tape backups of random servers each and every month to ensure that the backups SCDPM creates actually work!

The you need to tell your staff that as that's not the information we've had from you guys over the last SIX YEARS! Always been told it's too CPU heavy and will cause the Fortinet box to grind to a halt. We were also told not to worry as you'll be making your own system to store the logs making it better - which we've never seen. Therefore based on the information your company has given us over the last 6 years, steer clear of Fortinet if you want reporting.

We've been with Fortinet for many years now and there is ZERO reporting so steer clear of them.

You could use App-V via SCCM as after you've done the installation you can manually copy files across and then when you 'finalise' the App-V application it saves it all so you can then deploy the App-V file via SCCM. The only other way to do it, is to write a script that installs the 4Matrix program silently and then copy across the file you need to be copied and then deploy the script as a Package.

The Intel one appears to be a faster processor than the AMD one: Intel Core i3 5005U vs AMD A6 7310 You can always upgrade to an SSD in the future so I'd go for the Intel one.

It sounds like you use the same electrician as we do! Personally I'd have a chat with the electrician you use to see if there's anything that they can do for you. They might be able to isolate the power going to the motorised screen. I'm not sure a surge protector will make any difference, APC make UPS's and although they offer surge protection they also output a completely clean power line and 'soak up' any kind of electrical noise that it sounds like you are experiencing. Until recently we had an electrical hum on the speakers in our hall and our head of music insisted it was the phono sockets we'd installed next to the VGA connection for laptops etc. so I called his bluff and gave him a new back box, front panel, leads and our drill so he could move the 'faulty' sockets and put them somewhere else! Now he had to investigate properly (rather than just try and blame IT Services) and it turned out their amp was buggered as he could see the power arcing inside it! Once the faulty bit of kit had been replaced the hum has gone!

Yeah, they're definitely SID's of accounts that no longer exist.

Sounds like you're seeing a SID but without a screenshot I can't say for sure. If it is a SID you're seeing then you are correct in saying they are old/orphaned/deleted account that have been deleted.
