Is it possible to use a stick and download my MS Works version 9 on to it and transfer it over to my newly purchased Window 7 computer?

I am not computer savvy. I like the Microsoft Works Version 9.0. Will this download and work now using Windows 7

I recently purchased a refurbish HP Elite ...clean I am wondering what you would recommend for programs for security/virus/malware and what in general would be useful extras besides my "intended use" program RECOMMEND? Virus Program Simple Spread Sheet/Charting program Computer "cleaning" program

I just purchased a refurbished HP ELITE 8300. Looking at the back it looks like only one connection will fit my monitor...how do I get both connected? The computer says its dual monitor.
