Got it - I needed to use a Get Item step, not Get Items.
-
I'm trying to set up a Flow so that a Leave Request made with a Sharepoint Library is copied to a spreadsheet once approved. However, every time a new Leave request is made, all previous requests are also copied across. I'm sure I need a filter in my Get items step, but I can't work out what I'm filtering on!

Sorry i didn't remove that.

No, computer.

I'm wrong, that's not how I did it. I first have a Policy to change permissions, and give me full control: Then a policy to delete the key:
-
I've used a GPO to remove users permissions to the registry key.

We have now downgraded to R&W11.5, to match the other schools in our MAT. However, when we try and run PDFAloud for Adobe we get the message “An error occurred opening Adobe. Please ensure Adobe Acrobat or Acrobat Reader is installed on this system” I have checked the program is installed, and is the default handler for pdf files. Further, I’ve checked that Enhanced Security and Protected Mode are turned off within Acrobat Reader. When I run Adobe Acrobat directly, I can access the PDFAloud toolbar. We are running Windows 10 Edu 1709

I'm looking for a fitbit Charge 3 (it needs to be waterproof - my OH wants to take it swimming) -
I've just found CMPivot - new with the 1806 version of SCCM. It's scanning all machines in the collection for the specific driver file - gives me exactly what I need.

I'm sure this is doable, but I've already spent so much time on it it would be faster to walk round the classrooms and count, but I'm not giving up! I need to find out how many machines have a v5 smartboard connected - they are distinguishable because they have a serial to USB driver on them. I've tried a SCCM report and Impero's inventory, but can't find a query that will work. I know the Driver instance ID and filename - please help save my sanity!!!!

Works here - both management and circulate. -
Finally got applocker working - local group policy, configure, export, then import into GPO. Tested and working, thank you

program Files\Windowapps - why didn't I know that existed! I'm looking at applocker at the moment, but it's crashing every time I try and run it. I'll get there.

I was hoping I could deny access to the shortcuts, but I can't find them. I'm sure they are somewhere, but the wonder that is modern apps elude me!

I've done that, and the start layout to the right of the start menu is fine. It's the actual start menu that has entries I don't want, alongside the redirected menu.

I'm in the middle of setting up the GPO for exam users. It is expected that students who need to use a computer for an exam would be logged onto a classroom machine with an exam user, which would then give access to a locked down account - no Internet access, no shared areas, and only access to those programs they need - usually Word and Read and Write Gold. This worked with a redirected start menu and desktop in Windows 7. in Windows 10 I am having trouble getting rid of the menu items for Calculator and it's pals - we need the shortcuts when the computers are used in a normal classroom scenario, but just want to hide them during an exam, so I can't do as I usually do and uninstall them from the wim. Any ideas?

I use a program called TSGui, which is freeware, and allows me to name a computer when imaging it, and assign it to a room. I can then use filtering within the TS to assign specific programs to specific rooms. It's highly flexible, but means that all software is installed during the Task Sequence, and a machine is immediately useable once the TS finishes.

Group Policy - Software Installation & Copying File
clareq replied to SavedZelda's topic in Learning Network Manager
Set it so that it installs the settings file only if it sees the folder structure in place. I'm assuming you're using Group Policy Preferences to add the file? Under Common - Item Level targeting you can set a file match, then, under match type, select "folder exists" and add the path of the folder. -
Office 2016 - Remove locations - Documents and Desktop

There's a user GPO for it I think - File Open/Save Dialogue - Restricted Browsing -
Don't just delete the folders under Users - whenever a profile is created on a machine a corresponding registry entry is made. If you just delete the folder without removing the profile correctly, either through Advanced System Settings or with delprof2, the users will get an error when they try to log on subsequently.

Check the Event log - Applications and Services Logs - Microsoft - Windows - Applocker. I've had no end of "Oh Yes Of Course" moments from looking at that particular log when something doesn't work

[Request] Looking for a script to pin Office shortcuts to Start
clareq replied to ashleylewisms92's topic in Scripts
Try the profile removal with a test user, make sure it works, then warn them you're going to be losing their desktops. Then redirect the desktop so they can't save there - what would you do if a hard drive failed?- 17 replies

[Request] Looking for a script to pin Office shortcuts to Start
clareq replied to ashleylewisms92's topic in Scripts
Try removing the user profile from a machine, and then logging on again. They will create a new profile, based on the default one, with the settings you've put into default (this is assuming you don't use mandatory or roaming profiles)- 17 replies
