We use it. Occasionally it drops out of 'My Computer' but double clicking on it in the start menu then adds it again. No other issues.

SSD all the way. 4GB is enough for normal use. When you do get chance to upgrade the Ram if you are doing SSD first. Make sure you buy extra for the Photoshop machines and heavy MIS users.

The money might be coming out of the school to the leasing company and parents paying the school back. this is what happened in my last school that did this. If its lapsed you have a very hard task of getting the money out of the parents. When I was dealing with a leased scheme some of the parents would pay for a year then stop payments altogether. The school chased them but they didnt pay up. At the end of the scheme the school sent a letter to the parents saying how much they owed which needed to be paid or laptop returned. 90% of them were returned to the school as after 4/5 years they weren't worth the amount they had to pay.

I got a notification at the weekend to say one of my Wish list items was on the 'Todays deals'. I took a look and thought id go for it and went to check out and it took another £20 off! so I ended up paying about £20 for an item of £60 RRP. I do agree though that some of the 'deals' are just as cheap as other websites normally.

Ive run it many times on one laptop. Left it for a couple of days and then it worked!

I use the same, doesn't always work!

Not seen it return but the activation seems to be hit and miss. One laptop will be fine yet another won't even activate with both laptops having same image, updates and programs. Sometimes it'll take days to work.
