How would a switch know that something being plugged in was an unmanaged switch though? Maybe port authentication would do what you want? Ben

Yes some are made of a glass and ceramic material so you need to be careful with lots of tiny slivers floating about. Ben

That blog posts helps if you are doing this pre deployment of dirsync but if you have already synced it's not as straightforward. Log a call with support I had this issue but it was too long ago now for me to be able to recollect all of the solution or @EduTech might pop in. Ben

Sorry not quite getting what you trying to say here. For Directaccess you need a public ip address and you need to make your directaccess server available at that ip address therefore you need to have your network setup for external firewalls to allow access to the DA server. Ben

The cable on an ipad charger though is 5v as it's a usb lead so that wouldn't need anything. The unit itself as it's double insulated would need a visual inspection. Ben

The PC Check application is still a comprehensive test suite for memory, motherboard, cpu, hard drive and gfx testing and is regularly updated for new chipsets etc.. Ben

Everything else that's needed is on it's way to me just some different motor screws, some liquid insulating tape and other bits and bobs. Might be flying tomorrow but final build won't be until the end of the week, the bottom "dirty plate" with arms and motors will be easily removable for maintenance/repair. Ben
