hi all, I have a new graphic card but can't get it to work. When I put it in the pc won't boot and all I get is a black screen with a cursor, I am running windows 7 and the motherboard is an Asus GAZ77 DS3H. I have been googling it for a week now and all the remedies don't seem to work. (Check bios settings, install driver and shutdown prior to reboot etc. I even had a replacement sent in case it was faulty. Any help would be most welcome. I am stuck... sob....

We have had this problem for a while and deleting the history helped, however, Google have made changes to how Youtube runs and we had to enable HTTPS on our filtering to fix it. Our Filtering service provider supplied this: Google made changes to YouTube over the summer to force all connections to use SSL for access to YouTube. This change results in YouTube being blocked for Rule Sets which allow access to YouTube but also have ‘Block Google and YouTube HTTPS (fail-safe) enabled. The Google fail safe option does the following: • Blocks any SSL request to youtube.com, regardless of the host coming from SNI/TLS or a server certificate. • Blocks all requests to the main domain or any subdomain of google.com and google.co.uk when the host comes from a server certificate and not SNI/TLS. Note: There are a number of apps, like Google Drive, along with some ChromeOS features that do not use TLS/SNI. This means that they can also end up being blocked when they make SSL requests to any Google domain with the above Google fail safe option enabled. (EIS)

Is it something travelling through the air con system? We had that and discovered the art dept were using soldering irons! (they are in the same building). Could be contractors somewhere.

* Newton said he'd drop in. * Socrates said he'd think about it. * Ohm resisted the idea. * Boyle said he was under too much pressure * Darwin said he'd wait to see what evolved. * Pierre and Marie Curie radiated enthusiasm. * Volta was electrified at the prospect * Pavlov positively drooled at the thought. * Ampere was worried he wasn't current. * Audobon said he'd have to wing it. * Edison thought it would be illuminating. * Einstein said it would be relatively easy to attend. * Archimedes was buoyant at the thought. * Dr Jekyll declined - he said he hadn't been feeling himself lately. * Morse said, "I'll be there on the dot. Can't stop now, must dash." * Gauss was asked to attend because of his magnetism. * Hertz said he planned to attend with greater frequency in the future. * Watt thought it would be a good way to let off steam. * Wilbur Wright accepted, provided he and Orville could get a flight!

How the Internet Really Began In ancient Israel, it came to pass that a trader by the name of Abraham Com did take unto himself a healthy young wife by the name of Dorothy. And Dot Com was a comely woman, large of breast, broad of shoulder and long of leg. Indeed, she was often called Amazon Dot Com. And she said unto Abraham, her husband, "Why dost thou travel so far from town to town with thy goods when thou canst trade without ever leaving thy tent?" And Abraham did look at her as though she were several saddle bags short of a camel load, but simply said, "How, dear?" And Dot replied, "I will place drums in all the towns and drums in between to send messages saying what you have for sale, and they will reply telling you who hath the best price. The sale can be made on the drums and delivery made by Uriah's Pony Stable (UPS)." Abraham thought long and decided he would let Dot have her way with the drums. And the drums rang out and were an immediate success. Abraham sold all the goods he had at the top price, without ever having to move from his tent. To prevent neighbouring countries from overhearing what the drums were saying, Dot devised a system that only she and the drummers knew. It was known as Must Send Drum Over Sound (MSDOS), and she also developed a language to transmit ideas and pictures - Hebrew To The People (HTTP). And the young men did take to Dot Com's trading as doth the greedy horsefly take to camel dung. They were called Nomadic Ecclesiastical Rich Dominican Sybarites, or NERDS. And lo, the land was so feverish with joy at the new riches and the deafening sound of drums that no one noticed that the real riches were going to that enterprising drum dealer, Brother William of Gates, who bought off every drum maker in the land. Indeed he did insist on drums to be made that would work only with Brother Gates' drumheads and drumsticks. And Dot did say, "Oh, Abraham, what we have started is being taken over by others." And Abraham looked out over the Bay of Ezekiel , or eBay as it came to be known. He said, "We need a name that reflects what we are." And Dot replied, "Young Ambitious Hebrew Owner Operators." "YAHOO," said Abraham. And because it was Dot's idea, they named it YAHOO Dot Com. Abraham's cousin, Joshua, being the young Gregarious Energetic Educated Kid (GEEK) that he was, soon started using Dot's drums to locate things around the countryside. It soon became known as God's Own Official Guide to Locating Everything (GOOGLE). That is how it all began. And that's the truth.

Exchange 2013 - Outlook connection problem
NikChillin replied to burgemaster's topic in Enterprise Software
We just updated our certificates with Godaddy and are now getting signature verification errors. ours is with the xxxx.school part, we can't have that anymore because of the new domain names apparently, maybe the same for you with the xxxx.local extension? Are you using a 'SAN' cert? -
Great, cheers If I can keep the slugs at bay, I might get some veggies on my plot this year! Doesn't help when the other plots around me are left overgrown.
