if memory serves (i may be wrong) the locking down of mobiles to networks only works in the EU. this information came from our local indian take away when they explained that they dont mind buying locked (if i was to report my stolen then get a replacement) phones as they send them back home and they work fine.

Would anyone be interested in HP Toner? we have changed all our printers and have lots of Brand new HP and Konica Minolta toner doing nothing We also have some HP Printers. We are looking to sell these but not full price obviously. Memory serves they are for 2100 - toner 2200 - toner 2300 - toner 2015 - toner & printers 1320 - toner & printers 3600 - printer KM 2450 - toner 2350 - toner all original HP and KM toner if interested i will to a proper count with correct toner model numbers etc

ours all all warranty covered, so no real stress there. Its just a pain in the ass (and iminent me running to hide) when after power failure one dies and kills a room or two. (Happened 1st day back here wasnt popular that day)

as of last friday i was promoted to nm, which is great but due to our lack of management over the last few years we are no replacing me (the head feels we were over staffed) the two solutions i am faced with is sticking it for a year (myself and techy who works at primaries 1.5 days a week) so we can prove the point we need a body or getting a student on placement in for a year. i have bin told the decision is mine which is great but i am wary about the students what is your experience with students on placement in the tech dept?

At present the department has a black cloud over us due to inproper management from before the summer, so i want to get us out there and be seen. at preset securus isnt even set up, i went on the course at the start of summer, and wasnt in over most of summer, its on a list of jobs. i was told by the ppl at county that checking it is not the job of it support but the job of the slt, although i have bin told this is not going to happen. any ideas?

Do you guys and gals have a check sheet of daily/weeky/monthly jobs. I am currently formulating one but as is always the case i am getting brain freeze i have attached what i have so far we will be moving to a help desk system but as my predecessor (i was promoted last friday :) ) never enforced one it will be a chore. so whilst we get over the massive work load left for us we will be using a tick chart and white board. anything else i have missed or even great new ideas you wish to share? moring all, i would normally have a mess my self but this is the last day of the hols and i have loads to do thanks to my boss leaving and leaving loads to do! right, some one has sent the hod for it some xml files, which exchange blocks. the files are legit. any idea how to turn off blocking of this type even if only for 10mins?

i hand coded our site in asp, and did the design my self. decent back end easy for the staff to use. but i now want to go use joomla but i dare not re educate the staff, i just havent the time to keep coding new bits. i would love joomla if i could code a decent template.

on anti virus 2009 i used wi sys restore worked a treat tho this one was a manual reg jobbie ah the fun!
