I keep deleting it, and it keeps coming back. It reminds me of the double arrows indicating a compress file in Explorer. We don't send out stuff to parents, rather they get an email saying that they need to login to the parent portal and pickup any letters. They could download and alter them I suppose but the originals stay on their file for the duration the student is here.

In graphics the printer is controlled by the teacher Mac. We've enabled print sharing on the Mac and I can connect to the CUPS interface using my W10 box. What I can't get to work is add the printer to my W10 box. I can add the printer directly (ie my setup a print queue on my PC for the printer) but I can't use the print queue on the Mac. Any ideas? Ta!

There was quite a fad for it a few years ago with a group of jugglers I knew. They all did courses (cost lots) through adult education and practiced at the deaf club. I learned nearly as much by going to the pub with my deaf mate. I had to learn and he was willing to teach. He's moved on now and I can't remember it as you really do need to practice. One thing that I do remember is there are different dialects of BSL and some signs mean different things depending where you are. Maybe try your local council for adult learning courses - I think most councils offer it.

Watching Mission Impossible on CBS Action - strangely in last Thursday nights episode, a line of dialogue has gone missing from the when it was last transmitted. Yep as well as being a Trekkie (original and cartoon series) I know almost every MI script by heart. Thursday, there is a random episode of The Man From UNCLE going out on True Entertainment. They've being showing two episodes if The Prisoner week nights and this single UNCLE episode is going out when The Prisoner runs out. It would be nice if they broadcast all of them.

Now I'm doing zero extra hours. A decade ago, I was doing zero extra hours. Twenty years ago, I was doing zero extra hours. Thirty years ago, zero extra hours. I have always believed the 5 o'clock whistle is going home time. If you can't get your daily work done in the allotted time, something is wrong - either your not suited to your job (highly unlikely) or your employer needs to get some some assistance (very probable). I started work in Australia, which is very relaxed. More than once I've been talking to a very important client on the phone about a problem they were having. It got to 5 o'clock and the client would say "Well it's home time, I'll call you in the morning and we can carry on." In the summer, we'd finish work at 5:30pm, be on the beach by 6:00 and stay there until 10:00.
