Happy birthday Chris

Sounds like you want vlans on the fibre link to achieve this.
-
I asked capita to change the dns tag to vidahost IPSTAG "thermal" once the tag has transferred Vida host can change the name server records.
-
But there is a tick box In the Vida host system that will put in their default nameservers and kick your new hosting into life.
-
@Jobos yes that would sound correct. From experience they seem to only be willing to action the change when you confirm you are leaving. At least that's what happened with us.
-
Ah capita to vidahost. We did that over Christmas, well it would have been if Capita didn't delay things! You need to tell Capita to cancel your hosting before they will transfer your dns, after that everything goes very quickly. Touch wood vidahost have been very good for us.

Are these school laptops joining with machine accounts or do they log onto the WiFi as the user? If it's as user that's what smoothwall takes over for you.
-
You lose nps and let smoothwall do that role. That then means smoothwall has the auth details and the logs are correct etc.
-
Ah same as us then. Is your wireless network on its own vlan? If so it smoothwall already dhcp? Assuming that you set ruckus to use the smoothwall box as radius and away you go.
-
You want the byod instructions. Which smoothwall device do you have? Smoothwall support can sort this for you.
-
They must have had time on their hands....

Was this Vlaning for Apple TVs? In which case it was probably me wittering on, hope some of it was useful.

We have just started moving to them. Looking good so far. Crapita failed again. Today. -
I think I still have most of the resources for the show. Will have a look.

I did hear that Smoothwall were looking at a filtering category to make this sort of change happen as part of the block list updates, but I don't know if that ever happened. @tom_newton any ideas? It does seem to be one to add to auth exceptions at the moment though. -
Can't believe Wikipedia has already been updated with some of the outcomes of the series. Definitely a case for watching the last episode of the series asap.

Wasn't it just! Think we can say cybermen without it being a spoiler.
