I think from an education perspective this is something else Microsoft have messed up. For instance 1809 is supported until May 11th 2021, If we are talking re-imaging rather than in place updates you would still need to update in Summer 2020, exactly the same if you are running 1803 which is supported until November 10th 2020. If it helps we made the jump from CC4 to Vanilla last summer. My team consists of myself and two others (one term time only) and all of us had only ever known RM networks through various versions down the years. We prepared by reading up on various elements we knew we were going to be using such as WSUS, MDT and obviously GPOs. We also decided to work with a partner to help us with the move; CSE Education CSE Education Systems | Technology for Education . This actually proved vital in the end as after the first day of the install I ended up in hospital and then was off for a couple of weeks afterwards, this meant that there was only one of my team onsite trying to get their head around everything. With the help of CSE we got through it, they were very good during the install, handover and they even managed to get someone on site (FOC) whilst I was off to help ease the pain and worry. I'm rambling a bit now but if me and my team can do it in the scenario we were faced with, then I would say you should be fine as long as everyone is on board with the idea. I just have a folder for each Financial year with a spreadsheet with my budget totals, the spreadsheet has separate tabs for each budget. I create word docs named with the PO number and I simply reference this number along with supplier and amount on the Spreadsheet (if I need more detail I go back to the Word doc). I just get Finance to run a report against my budgets every so often to make sure everything tallies.

Just to clear one thing up for @TheGirlInIT (@Matt_NetSupport correct me if I am wrong), we also use NetSupport DNA but it does fail in one area of your requirement. The DNA option stops concurrent logins, it does not currently provide the ability to specify the number. So you either have it on and allow one login or off allowing any number of logins, so it does not currently meet your brief. Unless there has been an update since the Summer I am unaware of, this was something I have asked for before and will be brining up again at BETT.

Similar issue here but with 52 old 121 APs, over £5,500 for a one year renewal and nearly £12,000 for 3 years. As much as I like the system and how it works I simply can't justify the price. +1 with @noelmm we ran these a couple of weeks ago and for some reason several of the USB drives refused to accept the password. After what seemed like an eternity I finally convinced the invigilator that it must be the drives as the machines and accounts were identical to ones that were working, the only variable being the USB. They tried one of the spare ones they initially claimed not to have and it worked immediately. All in all a bit of a shambles really.

Yes, that would be the problem with GNS, they want to simulate network traffic flow. In fairness I'm all for the idea if we can do it legally, its just that the way I have read the T&Cs suggests that sharing accounts is not allowed and using these credentials to activate Packet Tracer would effectively be doing just that.
