Apologies for bringing up an old thread but I am having the same issue after applying the above fix. I am just starting to test 1909, and get the exact same message as @Wired_Inside_90 when going into the task sequence to generate the catalogue. Our setup is: Windows Server 2016 Datacentre x64 Deployment Workbench Version 8456 ADK 1903 ADK WIN PE 1903 WISM1903 patch applied I forgot all about the catalogue file and actually built a workstation with the template but it took an eternity to apply the Unattend.xml, would this have been because the catalogue file hadn't been generated and the processing was being done on the device? Would this have been likely to cause any issues with the build other than slowing it down? Anyone have any suggestions on what I can do about this?

We use ManageEngine here, predominantly because our installation of Spiceworks stopped sending emails randomly, it was possibly fixable but we just wanted something more stable. We have found ManageEngine much more comprehensive as a helpdesk and we probably only use around 1/3 of the features, if I were running ICT in a MAT I would definitely look into it with the way requests can be managed. Updates are just over the top installs and there is good online documentation for setup and support on their site. The only thing it lacks compared to Spiceworks is device auditing but we never really used that as we have other products that do a better job of it.

Does anyone know if there is an updated MDT for 1909? 8456 is currently listed as the latest version, I know the adk from 1903 works with 1909 but nothing is stated about MDT.

It shouldn't make any difference but if you've set the working directory you shouldn't need to specify the full path to the exe. Although in our case we import the packages into MDT to avoid any potential permissions issues, so that may be why for us. Other than that I wonder if it is doing something unusual with the switches or just ignoring them, I remember having similar issues with VLC through MDT (for 1803) we only resolved that by converting it to an msi. The only other thing I would try is to use MDT to copy the exe locally and try to get it to install from there.

Will be looking forward to this, there are a few people there that I've had good conversations with that would be lovely to meet properly.

Can't you manually set the association in your OS and export the xml to see what it comes out like?

We have it setup like this: Under State Restore> Custom Tasks (Pre-Windows Update) Add a new task for adding a new role or feature and select .NET 3.5.

Good point, I'll take that route for now. I just don't see why so many domains are apparently needed as a whitelist, it gives me the impression that they don't know exactly where on the domains the data is going otherwise they would have specified.

I haven't been asked about MIS sync yet but I have seen that the roles they request also appear to be excessive.

Have you recently updated DNA to 4.75? If so I believe there may be a slight issue with it. Our application server started dropping the DNA server service after the update and the whole server was lagging slightly, NetSupport have been on today to change one of the .dll's and things have been better this afternoon.

Probably the biggest thing I miss about CC4 is the Assignment Overview and Software Deployment. It is pretty much the only thing we aren't at the same level for since going Vanilla last year.

If the user entry still exists in the DB but not in AD then you'll either need to restore the AD object or contact RM to remove the user from the CC4 DB. You basically shouldn't touch AD on a CC4 Network.

This part actually made me think though; there will be no market for 2nd had electric cars (with the current generation) if the batteries only give a useable range for 5 years or so, your only realistic option would be to trade in or more expense (and carbon footprint) of new batteries. Who really can afford to buy a new expensive car with no return at the end? Not me or anyone I know that's for sure.

Doesn't Enterprise also have the same issue around controlling feature updates? So you've got the client running on the Education version? Did you have to do anything specific to get it working or did it just work? I guess it would just be unsupported if we ran into any issues. Helpfully Paxton have said there are currently no plans to change their stance on Windows 10 Education.

I've been asked to look into the Net2 Pro software as we are looking to use the Paxton system as part of our lockdown procedure i.e. to lock external doors at once. We only run Windows 10 Education (x64) on our domain and whilst researching I came across this compatibility list: https://www.paxton.co.uk/spotlight.asp?strStage=compatibility_statement showing everything but Education as being compatible. I contacted Paxton and they have confirmed that whilst we would be able to do the server side install, the client version (lite?) wouldn't install on the edu version of Windows 10. I know many of you use Paxton and Net2, does anyone know a way around this? So far the only solution I can come up with is a stand alone workstation running Windows 10 Pro, but having it access server side resources does not sit well with me, added to the fact that we have neither a spare computer nor a space to put it in. I really don't want to have to setup a new OU and GPO structure to manage one device for one piece of software, not to mention not being able to control the Windows feature updates in Pro.

To be honest I stopped using my Moto 360 gen 2 about 6 months ago. OSWear 2 broke a lot of things about the Moto 360 but Motorola aren't investing anymore time or money into it to fix. I found that things like the heart rate monitor stopped working properly (i.e. it no longer passed this info to the Moto or Google Fit apps), it also used to display the time when docked on the charger now it just blanks the screen. I always disabled email notifications as I found that it doesn't handle HTML messages particularly well, the pedometer was nowhere near accurate and I was only using it for pausing a skipping media tracks which seemed kind of pointless. I'm now all analogue again.

You'll still be looking at an annual deployment unless you re-image workstaions over Easter instead of the summer. For example from the currently available releases you'll need to do the next update summer 2020 anyway as 1809 ends in May 2021 (1903 ends December 2020). Yes, we do exactly this. Unfortunately due to recent Adobe announcement we may have to remove redirected app data for some users (if that is even possible) as we were using older versions of Adobe CC that would play ball with that setup

Again VII was about strategy, the materia system underpinned it. You go into a boss fight with the wrong or unbalanced materia setup / party your either going to struggle or lose, a good setup like using elemental materia on armour or a weapon can make a massive difference. Although I admit one of the best parts of the game is when Yuffie steals your materia and your forced to fight through just using strength and items. The magic system in VIII, meh! I really didn't care for it, although a strategic element it was just too time consuming and tedious.

As far as I can recall you just need to setup a port forward to the RDP server in Smoothwall. Obviously make sure there are no firewall rules blocking the inbound or outbound connection.

I'd 2nd that, part of the charm of FFVII was the strategy involved with the ATB, especially in battles where your party is outnumbered or against opponents with much less time between turns. I've recently purchased FFIV & VI on the recent Steam sale, started IV over the weekend; absolutely loving it so far.

If I were in your shoes I'd already be questioning if the house was right to buy in the first place. If you know you'll want to add a conservatory you'd better check with the builder where the drains are run and if they are where you expect to put a conservatory how deep they are. If it is in the wrong place (for you) it may limit the type or size of conservatory or add a eye watering amount to the bill.
