  1. Or that witch herself is not just an mythical construct hologram @X-13 Can you pick me up any freebies you come across? With my foot the way it is I doubt I will be up to too much running about
  2. and C) Free Pizza
  3. Well, it does But actually I find that talking quietly to the offending bit of kit, asking it how it is and why it is doing whatever it is doing, works much better. If you can work out its name, so much the better - the personal touch works wonders
  4. ...and anyone who wishes to challenge said witch.....beware.....
  5. 30? That's tropical. Too hot even for me
  6. You won't meet me then

    Rain It isn't even cold
  8. You should go for exercises that work more than one set of muscles. The plank, side plank and the bridge rather than situps, do pressups - both wide and narrow, The Dead Bug lift (look it up). Superman works well too as does the bicycle crunch
  9. We have both working fine. NB I used @AXE's App inventor software to get it running properly

Bitterly cold and frosty here today - no snow though. Had to swap the cars today - until I realised that mrwITch's car has no heating and no blowers and was covered in frost. So I took my own car and told him to follow me to work when he was ready (I only work 5 mins up the road) and swap the cars over. Hopefully by the time I finish work the car will be clear of frost. Goodness I am a good parent - all this so the middle son can borrow his dad's car to go to London this weekend
  11. Oh No:) I love Alan Rickman Truly Madly Deeply is one of my favourite films

My response to that would be - "oh, you are offering to make me dinner and a cup of tea - how lovely, yes please " Then you'd get a clip round the ear
  13. I have it in one school and I certainly haven't seen that issue. We have class logins but even so we have 10 accounts. Were they really that unhelpful? I've found their support pretty good in the past
  14. I think you should take the risk. My house was built in 1947 and we have no woodworm. However, I would be concerned about the survey - on a house of that age you really should be getting a full survey done
  15. Ohhh Great. I was watching a rerun the other day and thinking how good it was
  16. I have the following groups: AllStaff (which is a security group as well) Teachers Support Staff Year X Teachers Year X Support Year X Staff
  17. Absolutely - many companies use them instead of doing their own recruitment. It isn't difficult to find a good one. Just remember YOU are in control and YOU decide if you know enough to go to an interview etc
  18. Op is on the 26th. Can't wait - hurts like a b***** Had to arrange it for after BETT though
  19. That's what mrwITch does. But now, when his car is starting to fail (05 plate Pug 206) he refuses to change it as "I just spent £400 on a new...whatever" Can't get him to see that isn't gong to get any better, is it!
  20. Going to the gym today and meeting with a PT to sort me out 3x 30min exercise routines that I can do when I am sitting at home for 6 weeks with a duff foot.
  21. My CV style is particularly suited to those who have lots of expertise but few official qualifications
  22. I do and am happy to offer assistance - pm for address - but mine is a first opinion (seriously though, too many opinions leads to a mixed-up CV!)
  23. Other - my friends at edugeek
  24. Who is providing the broadband?
  25. Takes about 15 mins and is well signposted
