I'd go with HP switches - I've had all sorts and they have been the best. Dunno about a rack mount server, I have a standalone HP in both schools which have been very reliable.

Keep it I like a man with a beard Might be because mrwITch and both sons have beards

Both my schools teach tables pretty well already - but i agree, another test is NOT necessary. Also, I don't really see why there is a National Curriculum any more, round here at least most schools are academies and don't have to follow it anyway

A Good Day to Die Hard Full of plot holes and story jumps but still a bit of a laugh

Shouldn't be run by politicians. It should be independent of them so that there isn't any cronyism.

Ahh. Just trying to think of something with IT in it but not actually IT if you see what I mean. So - you need to be a technical person on your own then? What other transferable skills do you have?

I'm not sure what it is like in your schools but in mine the major religions ARE given equal amounts of time. We have vicars, priests, and leaders of various religions coming in to tell the children about what they believe. The children visit churches, synagogues and other places of worship The children are also taught about atheism. I think it is disingenuous to not expect children to be indoctrinated with their parents' beliefs at least to some extent. As parents we teach our child the things we believe to be right. But we also teach them to think for themselves and their beliefs hopefully get modified by experience and their own ideas.

What about working towards some sort of project management? Prince2, Itil, or maybe infrastructure?

[movie] Star Wars Episode VII - Spoilers Chat Thread
witch replied to Dos_Box's topic in TV & Movies
There are always plot holes in any sci-fi film I reckon. If you preferred 1,2 and 3 to the earlier films then I think that is why you didn't really like this film. Those of us who preferred the original 4,5 and 6 found the new one more in tune with our feelings about Star Wars. There was a lot of plot rehashing it is true that was a bit irritating at times, but overall it was great. Ren definitely ISN'T a Sith yet. There is a theory that he needed to kill Han so as to show the boss that he really is evil - maybe to team up with Rey as the light side of the force to finish the baddies once and for all (very unlikely, I know) -

You don't need to be musical to keep a beat. you just need to be able to listen and copy. -

Booked my ticket! Had to get a slightly later train, 11.07 on the Friday to get the cheap fare, and coming back at 19.35 on Sat. looking forward to it

I'm sure you will get all you need from DJ-1701 but if you have any more questions, I have a primary Server2012 setup at one of my schools and will be back there on Jan 5th. I don't have Hyper-V though

Well, sometimes. But if you are playing on your own it is down to you. And if you have ever played with lots of other people (behave at the back!) you will know that everyone has a slightly different way of hearing the beat - some early, and some late. Drives my section mad because we, of course, keep PERFECT TIME -
I don't think they necessarily are any fatter but it might be because the nature of the beast has them sat down staring into a computer all day at work and then all night playing fallout4 or whatever. *your pic looks a bit like David Cassidy...

Come on all you musician types, give this a go -
Some of them look airtight. Which might not be a good thing....

It seems OK now - but I am in my other school so who knows what is going on
