I managed to get in and it prompted me to make a new MFA using google auth or equivalent so I am in. Problem is my Xporter failed on the 16/12 so new staff aren't there.. just been on hold for 40 minutes then the phone went dead.

We've got a new SENCO so not the best start to the year.

Evening, Anyone still using this? Their email bounced back and no new versions have been released for ages. Getting a dot net error on new installs now so its failing... don't want to go back to unreliable deployments.

I did have a apple tv box a while ago but like you said.. alot more expensive. I was expecting Sky to call up and beg me to stay but they haven't yet. Everything on one box is really useful.

I've cancelled sky (loyal 17 year customer) as the price has just kept going up and up. What next? Annoyingly I've got 18 months left on my Vodafone fibre or I'd move to Virgin. My tv isn't smart so I'd need a device... looked at Freesat and Roku. Any other recommendations?

Both my DC's upgraded fine and I've promoted the function level to 2025. All seems fine so far. 5 servers done... 1 with a driver issue for an old NIC and 1 won't activate but I'm working on that.

Ours is setup so they are redirected to a google sites page where they can access school resources but it fails half the time. I end up going through a loop of having to input credentials again and eventually it gets on the WIFI. Very sporadic. I did have the google site on the pre auth list though so that might be something.

Did a couple of servers... windows update doesn't work on one and I can't use the troubleshooting as the ms-store can't open either. I did 1 DC which didn't have any roles which worked fine apart from my Azure AD Connect which I ended up having to reinstall.

Lioness (paramount) Series 2 kicks off with a Sicario quality fight scene in Mexico.. so good. Top cast, decent writing and flawed characters.. a good watch.

Is it me or this thing utter rubbish? Just been in to Entra and it says all licenses are processed in M365 now. Click on the link and I can see My products but I can see how to look at the services. In Entra I disabled some services on the pupils accounts 20/25 in Office 365 A1 Plus for faculty but clickin in M365 it doesn't give me any option to look at the services I can see.. if it is its not obvious. My Entra ID P1 has expired too which will be fun. I hate change

But I've uploaded all the student files to the cloud so they aren't on the local system.. it seems to be syncing all their files to the local drives.

It shows the file size as large when I do a scan If I go into the OneDrive client and click on free up space it seems to sort it.

Hi, We moved to OneDrive over the summer and I thought I had it sussed but I can see that the local accounts are syncing the contents of their OneDrive to the local machines still. I've got File On Demand set and its showing on the GP results as being active. Am I missing something? I can actually see 2 OneDrive folders in a pupils profile folder.. one a normal icon and the other OneDrive - domain name. I really hope its not because I am on LTSC and I've installed the OneDrive client for myself... Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, I've migrated over to Onedrive in school over the summer. I'm on LTSC but did intend to move to W11 but ran out of time so I am having to install the OneDrive client for all users. One thing I need to sort is the navigation pane isn't visible when i open explorer for the student but i can't see a GP for it.. I've found some registry hacks online also. Has anyone else had this issue? Didn't want to go down the line of default profiles again.

I figured it out. When i was selecting the subdomain I needed to type the correct domain name in the box rather than using the drop down. I did make a subdomain in Google but wasn't sure it was needed. Just created a CSV with the email addresses and it all copied across overnight.

Hi, I'm in the process of putting everything in the cloud over summer. I'm using the SharePoint migration tool for home folders which seems to work well but I'm struggling with the Gmail migration in exchange online. I start the migration process and it goes through all the Gmail auto creations but whenever I get to the account to use it says no permissions. I noticed the account must have a mailbox to migrate so I've had to use a secondary account and make them global admins in suite. Has anyone used this before? I've created all the pupils outlook mailboxes and they work so they are ready to accept the connections. (Just need to work out how to restrict app access.. bit different from the old each)
