@KK20 - We're the same. My server email is a emailserver.internal, the certificate is mail.debenhamhighschool.suffolk.sch.uk. All is happy.

So after all of that, I have now found out that VMWare only supports hardware RAID controllers, and two of my Dell servers have the S110 which isn't a proper hardware RAID controller, so I would have no redundancy in my disks. Hyper-V it is then! Grrr....

I think I may go for this. Plan, prepare, build and test as much as possible now, and then actually move over the summer. One question though. I currently have a flat network and would like to have a couple of VLANs. Is it worth me putting everything I currently have in VLAN (just picked a number) 30 now, and then building the new network properly, or does it really not make a lot of difference and I may as well start implementing the VLANs now?

I have inherited a domain called debenham-cc3.internal, which has no sign of anything RM related in it at all. The default domain policy has loads of settings in it, and there are permissions all over the place. I am steadily working my way through things, but would also love to get rid of the 'cc3' reminders. I know in theory what is involved in moving everyone to a new domain, but realistically how much of a PITA is it? I have around 450 kids, 100 staff, and various servers including SIMS and Exchange. Is it worth the hassle? I appreciate it is at least an Easter holiday job, if not Summer! Thank you Stuart

Mine neither, and there is no way I would watch "Celebrity" big brother or anything like that. I enjoy this as I like to see people push themselves and achieve what they thought they couldn't. CBB is just "lets put together people we know will argue". Can't stand it. I would happily watch The Jump with 'normal' people in it.

Well this has simply confused me considerably more, presumably due to my own lack of understanding. For me, the first line says if you renew before July 2018 then you'll get the discounts, implying that they are ending, and the second says the discounts would still be in effect. What exactly is ending and what exactly is going to be more expensive?

Capita showed me their brand new one while I was at BETT as they were launching it there. That was definitely half a product! It pulls student names out of SIMS .net, but it doesn't pull the room names out and it isn't aware of school holidays!

Need to make sure this is done properly as at my last place they did this and at the next end of lesson bell all the fire doors shut, the lift went to the ground floor and the gas got shut off to the entire building. Phil in the kitchen trying to make several hundred school dinners was not a happy bunny. How we laughed though......
