yeah we do that. We create the accounts in gsuite via the Google ad sync tool. However i need to add the domain user names into the google admin panel via the sync tool. I just need to research this.

Yeah we're on education fundamentals and have got it working in my test enviro. Just struggling to get the AD details sync'd into the Google admin panel vi the sync tool. Look very odd seeing the google sign-in screen on a domain pc!

Hi All, I've been looking at this for a while now. Anybody implemented this? We use 2-step here for staff accounts so would be interesting to see how it handles that. We have lots of Chromebooks onsite, so looking to remove the need for dual accounts and just streamline with Google accounts. This also negates the need to sign into Google onced logged into the windows pcs. Not tested Google drive stream (aka Google drive desktop), but would be awesome if users were automictically signed into that also! Google Link

Hey all, anybody clarify this for me or point me in the direction specifically to educational use. We (the school) have user based licensing for adobe CC. Are students/staff allowed to install this at home on their personal PCS? I can only find this: https://helpx.adobe.com/be_en/download-install/using/install-apps-number-of-computers.html But but the wording throws me as it doesn't mention education. cheers all

Hi All, Anybody able to access the "contact support" sections of the autodesk educational site? Are they having issues? I'm having a real issue trying to contact them. All the methods of contacting them via the portal are failing...... The site is just timing out or giving errors. I've tried another computer on my unfiltered mobile hotspot and its the same! Anybody else have the same issue? I just need to renew so i can get the network license file i need to generate. But thats giving an error and the support link that offers is a 404! Even the email i have for them is rejecting my emails! Cheers

Normally after this sort "outage"...... we get another period or unresponsiveness after the service has come back online. I suspect it's like a mini DDOS attack where all the schools are trying to log back in at the same time. Interesting how the services status page stays green with 100% uptime................ not even degraded performance...... No point having a status page if it isn't factual or if it needs updating manually......... I spent the first 10mins checking our systems here as the status page was green........ So i resorted to posting on Edugeek and got a response from the rest of your customers who were affected.

Hi all, Anybody else experiencing this? It is happening on all domain accounts (Even IT admins). We have redirected start menus and have lots of instances today where the Start menu is very slow and unresponsive. You can "Search" from it, in some cases clicking on a icon does nothing....... Local profiles Very odd.

We have a Sophos XG that allows VPN for our IT admin team. Remote pcs needs the Cert and config on it to be able to connect. Then a 2 step key is required. Password is changes every min.

Hi all, We're currently refitting an IT Suite and have 28 X PCs (Base Units Only) available FREE for a School. The machines are perfectly serviceable with the exception of the DVD-RW Drives. These have been disconnected so unsure if working or not. We're not after any £££ for them, and are happy to gift them to an educational establishment. We just need proof of this in the form of a email from an official email along, with the request from either the Head, Business manager or ICT Manager. We need this for our auditors. This is also to ensure they are being put back into education for establishments that have very tight budgets and they aren't just being harvested for their SSDs These would also need collecting from Bolton by the end of this week...... Otherwise i'm afraid they're off to WeeWaste. Hopefully somebody can repurpose them. They have fallen out of our ICT scope so are being replaced. The specs are as follows; 28 x Lenovo Thinkcentre edge 8GB RAM 240GB SSD Intel i3-3200 (3.3Ghz) Please note that these DO NOT come with the Mechanical HDDs pictures next to the SSDs NO OS is provided. SSDs are blank First come, First served, No warranties implied or given. All PAT tested, however its upto you to ensure these are safe to be put back into a classroom. That seems like a simple soluation to be fair! If i remove the "students" ability to "read" c:\ won't that cause issues with programs and such opening? I think that i'm overthinking this and not seeing the forest because of the trees.... Normally our GPOs hide the C:\ away Yes all our students are standard users, but Students being students will copy and paste the contents of a folder to their My docs folder just for the sake of it.

Hi all, We have no access to C: for our users. However i've been made aware that when opening Media Broswer from encoder user can access the c:. Anybody else have this. Not sure what i'm going to be able to do to prevent this. Adobe CC

I'm alittle confused with this one. I manually authorise all updates, so when i saw issues i of course didn't authorise them. From what i understand now, the updates have been pulled. However they still appear in WSUS. I have done a sync, and nothing has been removed/recalled etc. Are these safe yet? KB5009557 does this mean its been amended?
