We're still using office 2003, however since Sims will soon require 2007 and since we're changing the way we licence Office it's now time for us to take the next step. What are people thoughts? Jump straight to 2010, or go to 2007.

When I read this thread title I assumed this was to stop the kids trying find games & music when they were meant to be listening for their names. Surely if the teachers can't be bothered to take registers then it's a management issue.

All good suggestions above, I'd also try disconnecting anything USB (especially stuff that draws power). -

We use a spreadsheet here, and until about about two years ago we had everything on statics so it was quite a task.

But they have since given up making servers.

Bare in mind tapes are a proper pain in the back side to download, also you have to rewind them to playback footage. This doesn't sound like the end of the world, but it makes it very easy for someone to record over something without realising. If you want removable media I'd say go for SD. EDIT: Make wise Canon are good.

The locking on my Chrysler Neon was getting so temperamental that I doubt someone could have stolen it even with the keys. Maybe that's why not many get stolen.
