    World of Tanks

It wasnt bad on beta, made painful at times though by people shelling you from half a map away, bit annoying people can buy better tanks / gear as well as has already been said, takes time to get any sort of decent tanks too in the game, good fun though in a pure armour sense.
  2. I was actually playing Day of Defeat:Source on the weekend for the first time in about a year, I think a BF1942 remake would be awesome, just hope that they make aiming with weapons a bit better this time around though if they do that, used to tear your hair out aiming at people in it at times.
  3. One thing I would say also - check the server / machine that the Key Management Sservice is installed and enabled through the kms server's firewall settings, it doesnt enable them by default (or at least didnt when I made my KMS server), I overlooked that on site here and spent an hour when I was doing it wondering why the IT Suite I had built up as 7 refused to authenticate anything, despite being over the 25 machine limit, once I changed that setting it insta-registered the entire room. Its also worth getting hold of the VAMT stuff from MS as well, they can help you in a more user friendly environment than the powershell when checking things like activations.
  4. GPP maps our printers here, doesnt effect our logins at all either on a mixture of Konica Minolta MFDs, Brother Laser Printers and HP Laser printers without major issues, you do need to make sure though that you upload the newest/correct drivers to the servers though, our print server is a 2003 server here and we use the 2008 admin tools on an administrative machine to get the drivers updated for our windows 7 machines on there though. Make sure the preference specifies update option as well, not delete and readd/replace, I believe that can have some bearing on it.
  5. WoW EU - Ragnaros Horde
  6. Initially I found it a bit hard to read here too, the text changed slightly it seems a bit brighter than the previous versions I found for me, doesnt look bad overall though
  7. I like the fact you could personalise the page, we had to ban it on site here though for pupils, as people were using it to load up games into their page.
  8. I want one now, but I think my mrs would go bang if I told her, especially after just upgrading the ram on my main machine
  9. my £400 astra failed the other week, succumbing to a collapsed cylinder (no suprise given the oil I was going through), quoted at £5/600 to repair, My first car was a Ford Mondeo 2.0 I bought at 21, cost me £1200 a year to insure, wish I still had it too, was an awesome car and would have one again in blink of an eye.
  10. I watched this yesterday and it seems to be a lovely piece of kit for the price, what does everyone else think of it ? https://play.google.com/store/devices/details?id=nexus_7_8gb&feature=single-wide-banner - in case you havent seen it yet, price is appealing to me and I am a big android fan, despite having recently acquired an iphone 4s.
  11. Their brute forcing of changes through to their userbase is very tiresome stuff, one of a few reasons I deleted a lot of the content off my account on there, dont know why I didnt fully deactivate it on there.
  12. I just hope they dont weigh in with a price much over an ipad, its instantly non-competitive then when people consider on price alone (I know management of them is another issue entirely)
  13. If the price is right, I would definitely consider getting one before an ipad, I dont imagine any massive hassles with this device with things like file management from watching the videos, as its a windows PC through and through, I dont think much of apple forcing you down itunes for anything to do with an ipad, (that being said apple may change their tune on this and allow direct file downloading to the device).
  14. watching that game last night, the more it went on, the less likely England seemed to be able to win, Italy were all over them in the second half, was looking at stats earlier also and its pretty damning, worst possible day to have a bad game looking at it.
  15. Promethean here on site, some boards are just passing 8 years and still going strong here
  16. I got sent it on MSN last night and saw it also linked on twitter, I read through the website, its a bit sad that they pulled the plug on a schoolgirl, but you can see why they have done it, looking at the lunches, some of them were not exactly good looking meals on the plate, trouble is though, by taking any action other than improving the meals, they are only going to create a worse situation for themselves I felt reading through it all.
  17. Good luck, sounds like a lovely adventure, a girl from my form in school did the same and the photos you see from time to time look pretty amazing over there.
  18. I think your referring to the oil refinery/ICI chemical processing plant by the sounds of it, the sandfields has undergone a fair amount of restoration and regeneration works in recent years from what I have seen in visits to the area.
  19. aye I realise what I typed earlier made no sense, it was his backup, until he had his PC rebuilt with windows 7, then it became the "ONLY" copy he had.
  20. from what he tells me, its basically all the digital photos off the cameras hes had going back a few years, it was bought to clear up the space on his old PC, trouble is none of the sites offering services give any details about price either, its all quotes from what I am looking at.
  21. Hello, One staff member where I work has managed to drop a 1TB Hitachi hard disk caddy, when powering it up in the caddy, it now doesnt seem to do anything, removing the disk from the caddy and putting it into a cradle, produces a mechanical "alarm" type noise from the machine (it sounds like an alarm but its a mechanical noise as best I can tell, which points to the heads if symptoms are correct), obviously this drive was used as a backup for all their photos and he needs the data recovered off it, so its out of my hands really here and onto a professional recovery company. Has anyone used one ever or could recommend one and what are the costs for the recovery of data ?
  22. It seems weird this euro compared to previous ones I think, especially the neg publicity surrounding it from things like that panorama programme, that being said I think 1-0 is reasonable, not going to be fun in that heat looking at it.
  23. Thanks all for the input, I have taken delivery of an awesome 24" Benq HD monitor, it plays all my games brilliantly and no more am I constricted to a 1366x768 screen size, games look so much better, my characters in wow and diablo are massive on screen now and I am considering using the old 19" widescreen I have for a dual setup, so I can have a browser open while watching films / gaming.
  24. I looked at the card with Gareth yesterday, it is a very strange thing that's happened, it appears to me that the camera has somehow written the same 4 images onto the card, over and over again, running active file recovery and recuva on the drive has brought up old photos that were deleted, but the majority of the photos recovered are the same 4 images just written repeatedly, it wasn't been able to recover any of the photos that have been taken recently from what Gareth informed me. The RAW image program might be worth a look, but I cant see what much else can be done with the card should that fail.
  25. active file recovery I would recommend, its saved us here a couple of times
