Has anyone else seen Adolescence? The internet seems to be raving about it, I thought it was pretty average!

It isn't easy or smooth to use. Accidently clicking links when scrolling, not really responsive a little laggy. You don't have a great deal of space to submit a reply. It's not it doesn't work, just doesn't seem to work great. To the point I don't use it, I fill my free 10 mins here and there with something else.

I disagree, Chromebooks have a considerably long lifespan compared to other devices.

I am sorry to say using the site in the browser on my iPhone isn't a great experience. I miss the app!

I forgot about this. First time patching ESXI on HP made me a bit nervous!

We recently ran all 3 in service. We have replaced everything with Dell. Personally I would pay more for Dell. Their service has been good and also the most reliable! I think we are have around 34 physical Dell servers (not education).

Thanks for the hard work. I am now pleased I have MFA! PS: Did anyone else think this topic was about cars?

CIS hardening is a whole set of security policies to make it harder to become compromised. They are in the form a Group Policy templates or in this case InTune policies. Usually they break something so need to be deployed carefully. Even if you're not using them there could be a policy somewhere causing it.
-
Are you using any CIS hardening? We are doing some testing and observing similar with.

All our hypervisors are clustered. We have physical domain controllers outside of that cluster. I’m just replacing them actually.

Is LLDP-MED enabled on your switch? This is used to automatically identify the power requirements of POE devices. Have you checked the POE budget of the switch to check if your switch had enough power remaining to go around?

I am curious to know why you’re having them domain joined. We join them to Entra only and have zero locally joined.

Fairly long! It's one of those extendable ones for painting the ceiling! I am close to a major Hospital and Ambulance station, so if it's going to happen I am in the best place for it! -

Saw this baby Eastern Brown Snake this evening. Initially on my doorstep until I used a very long pole to encourage it away! The second most venomous snake in the world. -
Digital Signage software, what do you use?

For those using Xibo, what players do you use please? -
I have had over 300 Unifi access points deployed across 20 sites with zero issues. Something to consider with Meraki is the renewing of licences. If you don’t pay all your hardware turns into bricks. That doesn’t sit well with with me. I have heard some horror stories about renewal costs as well.

Have you checked your contracts and SLA? It should indicate what’s included and what isn’t. Might help weed anything that wasn’t set out when the school made the purchase.

It appears that some people haven’t don’t any acceptance testing before going live. Otherwise these issues would have been detected. Am I right in that assumption?

For those without support, what happens if you need a firmware update that is behind a paywall? Dell seem to be ok with this and keep everything open. HPE less so…

Plenty, we had a component fail 2 weeks ago, it was a drive failure. In recent times we have also had a motherboard replaced. All replacements arrive extremely quickly and systems back healthy ASAP.
